Ayla's POV

After that Christie told me how she and Peter met Emily.

She told me that they had run off from their house as soon as they got to know that
her parents were gonna send them away so that they would become normal.

Wow, those were such mean and cruel parents.
I mean who would do that?
I had spent the rest of the day with Christie. We both got to know more about each other.

Since she told me about how she could talk to Peter in his mind, I showed her how I could control things with my mind.

Later that day, Emily had read to file thoroughly, and she gave us a good news that the machine's rays would not affect us, and now is was up to us to fix this situation.

She told us that she being with us, would not do us any kind of benefit, instead it would be dangerous, as she was not one of us.
We convinced her to stay with us, as we needed some one to help us.

She only agreed when she made us promise her that if things go wring and she's trouble for us then we should leave her, wherever she is.

It was night time and NewYork was lit up with lights.
There was the continuous blaring of the car horns, which annoyed me.

I was thinking about my family, it would have been so great if none of this had happened.

At this time I would've been sitting on the dinner table with my mom and dad. We would laughing and talking about the day like we always do.
I missed my parents so much.
Tears started spilling out of my eyes.

I was interrupted by a knock on the door.
I quickly wiped the tears away and said," Come in."

I thought it might have been Emily or maybe Christie, but it was none other than Peter.
"Dinners ready, Emily and Christie were too busy eating dinner so I thought I would call you."

"OK, I'll be out in a sec." I tried to act calm but my voice was cracked.
He noticed that something was wrong so he quickly said,"Is something wrong?"

I shook my head,"No, everything's perfectly fine!" I said, forcing a smile.
He just shrugged,"ok."
and he went out.

I got out and was greeted by a warm hug from Christie
, I was too surprised and confused to hug back.
"Is everything ok?"she asks, pulling back.

"Yeah, everything is perfectly fine,why?" I say raising an eyebrow.
"I got to know you were crying." She casually says.
"What?.. How?" I trail off... Looking at Peter who smiles innocently.

I sent him a glare and he just shrugged and went back to eating.
"Eat something." Emily says.
"Yea of course," I reply and eat the pizza that was left after we ate lunch today.

After eating, I was pretty tired so I excused myself and went to my room to sleep.
It took a while to clear my thoughts and go to sleep.
I don't know why but something was bothering me.
I felt as if something was not right, but I ignored that and
I went to sleep.

The next morning I woke up at 9:00a.m.
Last night was awful.
I wasn't able to get the perfect sleep cause I felt that something bad was gonna happen.
