Chapter 20

I woke up and wanted to sleep in all day. I got a missed call from the job in California. I was so scared to make up my mind. One little answer could ruin my life, or could make it the best it can be. I really had to decide on what my final decision was going to be. I called back the job, maybe they said that they've changed their mind. "Hello?" the operator asked. "Hello, my name is Destiny Rose, and I got  missed call from the job." I said. "Oh okay, I can see from the computer that you've got the job. The boss wanted to talk to you. I'll put him on the phone." She said sweetly. Her attitude completely changed when I told her who I was.

I waited, but I didn't get some weird instrumental music, I got sponsors from my parent's company. That was really weird, because that company didn't have any sponsors. I'll ask the boss when I finally talk to him. I only had to wait about two minutes. That is also weird, because it usually takes ten, twenty minutes. "Hello there Destiny, I wanted to know if you were interested in the job. I haven't hear back from you, and I want to let you know, it would be a honor for you to work at this company. I know that money isn't the reason you applied, but I wanted to let you know, you have the placement of head manager." He said. "Oh wow, I am very shocked that you feel that way, thank you for the amazing opportunity. As of now, I don't really know if Im going to accept the job offer. I just moved in with my boyfriend, and we have a lot of plans." I said nervously.

"Oh okay, I really need to know the answer by 8:00 pm." He said. "Okay, no problem. I have a question.. why was my parents company a sponsor for your holding music?" I asked curiously. "Well, I wanted to make you feel welcome, and to show I will do anything in my power, for you to work here." He said chuckling. "Okay, thank you for the call, I'll be sure to call you back as soon as possible." I said. "Okay, have a good rest of your day." he said. I hung up. It actually came down to me making a decision now, no more games. I went inside and sat down with Joshua. "Hey babe." He said smiling. "Whats wrong?" He asked concerned. He could already see that I was upset and hurting. "I wanted to let you know, that I have no idea what I am going to do about the job. The owner of the company called me, and even made the hold music my parents company as a sponsor. He wants to make me manager." I said looking at him. "We'll figure it out. I promise." He said hugging me. 

"The only problem is, I have to call him back with a final decision by 8:00pm" I said. He gave me such a horrid look, like it was the last time he was going to see me. "Wow.." He said. "I need your help. If you want, we can move to California. Or we can stay here and I decline, Or I can still go and you stay here." I said holding his hands in mine. "The last option is off the table, you're not leaving me to go to California. Its just that, this job is so important to you, but we love where we are, and thats all that matters to me. Where ever we go, whenever we go, as long as we're together and happy, I will love it. As long as I can make you smile and happy, and you're not depressed or anxious, I will be okay with your decisions." He said. "Im so deeply in love with you Joshua Parker. You're my everything. I can't wake up without you by my side, I can't live without you in my life. You complete me, I can't imagine me without you. You are so perfect, and I have never been so happy to be alive." I said kissing him.

We hugged until it reached about ten minutes. I had to make the call. "I don't want to.." I said. "I won't loose you to some job Joshypoo." I said picking up my phone. "Do whatever your heart tells you, not your brain. You need to be happy, and even if I can't be there, just remember me, and what I say that makes you laugh, and smile." He said. I called the boss. He picked up, and I said, "Hello there, I would like to inform you, that my decision is.."
