Chapter 23

My sister Jamie was coming to town for me. She was always there for me. She is my older sister, and she is one of the most prettiest girl's I've ever seen. She had the best personality. She was my role model, and I looked up to her. She was going to meet Joshua, and we would all have great days and weeks together. 

Jamie and I were raised very lucky. We are rich, and can get into any job we want. Jamie finished college, and was thinking about having kids. I changed my mind about kids, I was way to young. Thinking back years from now, if you told me my life would be like this, I would laugh in your face and think you were insane. I decided to pick up my sister around 12:00pm. So, we can go out for brunch. I got ready. Skinny jeans, high tight pony tail, a white and black shirt, and white and black Converse. 

I got my purse, put my wallet, phone, and extra things I would need. I opened my car door and started the car. I road all the way across town. I parked my car into her garage and knocked on her door. "Hey!" We both screamed hugging each other. We laughed and hung out a little at her house. After an hour or so, we went into my car. "Where do you want to eat lunch?" I asked. "I don't know, its up to you sis." She said. "How about that restaurant mom used to take us to?" I asked putting the gear into drive. "Thats a great idea." She said. "Great." I said. 

After a hour drive, we got to the restaurant. I was starving. The owner knew us, so we were able to skip to the front. "Well, Well, how are you, my two beautiful nieces!" Ralph said. Ralph was the owner, but he was a family friend, so we considered him a uncle. We ordered, and had some drinks. I've missed her so much, its been months. Her boyfriend David was like my best friend. He was with Jamie for months now, and he was working. He was coming over later. They were sleeping over. It was going to be a great time.

Ralph said it was on him, even though I hesitated. We left, thanking everyone. I drove home, and we just took a nap. When we woke up, I seen Joshua's phone light up. I pick up his phone, and what do I see? 

Umessage: "When are you coming over?" 

I started to burst into tears. The girls name was Patricia. I hugged Jamie and she wanted to hurt Joshua right now. "Its okay, we'll figure it out." Jamie said hugging me. I calmed down after a while. I seen Joshua. "Hey, have you seen my phone?" He asked. "Wow, funny you asked 'babe'" I said tearing up. I took out his phone, and showed him the text. "Its not what it looks like." He said. "Really? You couldn't even use your own line?, You can't lie to me. Not about this. I won't allow you." I said. "She's my boss, she wants me to do some extra work so I can get a promotion." He said. I felt like a idiot.

Jamie's angry faced turned normal. I felt my heart stop beating when I read that. I was so tired of being weak. I don't want to feel this way. Jamie slapped him anyway. "Then you put 'Boss' for your contact. Idiot." She said. She walked out and went downstairs to call David. I was there, so upset. I couldn't look at Joshua. Not at all, one little glance hurt me. I was so disappointed and so upset.
