"Amanda are you here?" I go to Cara's room and she's not there either.
"Cara can't you communicate with her? I mean, she is your sister."
"Don't you think I've tried that already."
"Well just saying." We're about to leave when Matthew comes running in.
His eyes are red, and he has tears streaming down his face.
"CARA!"
"Matthew what happened?"
"It's Amanda." I don't want to think the worst.
"What happened to my sister?"
I can already see the panic and worry in Cara's eyes.
"The slayers, they killed her."
Cara's eyes turn blood red, they start to fill with tears.
"I found her about a mile east of the training area, I don't know what she was doing in the woods, but by the time I got to her she was already dead."
"But how, Amanda was one of the best." I cut in.
"I checked everything it was an ambush, at least two dozen slayers. I saw the bodies she managed to get 7 of them."
"They must have killed her thinking it was you Cara."
"Or they killed her for sport. If they killed her they got her blood."
Cara doesn't hold back anymore and she cries like I've never seen her before, I go to hug her and comfort her.
"I already took her body to nurse Baker." As I'm hugging her
"Cara how did they get to her?"
"Someone must have led them in here, and dragged her out."
One person comes to mind.
"Edwin."
"Exactly, that son of a bitch is responsible for my sister's death. And I'm gonna avenge her, he'd wish that he never crossed paths with me."
"Go Matthew tell Mr. Hale, I'm going to find Edwin right now, whether he likes it or not."
"Cara please you're not thinking. They could be waiting for you."
"Who cares Nathan! She was my only family. I lost my parents because of them and now I lost my sister. I'm sorry Nathan but I refuse to lose anyone else close to me."
"Wait. WAIT CARA!"

Hello! I know this is a short chapter but this is the end...of the first book. This story is getting a lot longer than I anticipated. And I'm ending it now and I'm going to work on the second book, I figured I might as well make another book or else this is going to get too long :). I don't really have a title for the second book, so if you have any ideas or suggestions please comment or send me a message. Of course I will give you credit for the title, a shoutout.
