Chapter 26: Cara's POV

We knock on the door. Ms. Anderson opens it with a smile.

"Good afternoon Ms. A."

"Good afternoon, love birds."

I couldn't help but blush.

"Ms. A, we were wondering if you by any chance you had any pictures of Tess with our friend group."

"I think I do Cara, I am not sure though, come on in you two."

Keith whispers to me, "Do you think she knows what really happened?"

As I was about to answer she turns around.

"Yes I do know Keith. I have good hearing you know." Keith just looks at the floor embarrassed.

"If I'm not mistaken Cara, are you gathering ingredients to help Tess recover her memory?" I'm surprised that she knows this much.

"Yes ma'am I am. If you don't mind my asking, how did you found out?"

"The only thing I knew was that Tess lost her memory, that was all I was told anyways, so I figured there must be a way to retrieve her memory. So tell me, what exactly happened, how did Tess loose her memory."

"We were ambushed, by 7 slayers, one had a dart, he was aiming it at me, and Tess saved me."

"It does seem like Tess to save her best friend."

Just then the phone rings and Ms. A goes and answers it.

"Cara, it was Tess."

She goes into another room and comes back with a photo album.

"I'm sure the pictures you are looking for are here, I don't mean to rush but Tess will be home in about 2 hours."

"Alright, thank you." After searching for about 25 minutes we have a total of 3 good pictures.

"Babe how many do we need?"

"I'd say 5 are good."

"Well I don't see any other good ones."

"Yeah me neither, hopefully Amanda had some luck finding some."

After 5 more minutes of searching, we found nothing and Ms. A, walks in.

"Well love birds, I'm going to do some grocery shopping, I won't take long. There are two more albums on the shelve so feel free to look through those."

"Thank you."

As she's walking out the door Nathan almost bumps into her.

"Sorry." He says immediately

"Nathan you finally made it. I thought you got lost in the woods." Keith says sarcastically.

Nathan just gives him a look. Ms. A turns around.

"You know each other?"

"Yes Ms. A, this is Tess' boyfriend."

"I thought she was still with Edwin."

So I explain to her the whole situation, Edwin cheating on her, me beating the shit out of him, and how she only seems to remember him.

"You don't hear that everyday. Well come on in Nathan, make yourself at home, I won't take long."

"Thank you."

"Okay Nathan we have an hour and a half before Tess gets back so if you find any good pictures with our friend group show them to me."

So Nathan sits on the couch looking through photos. After going through the first album, I go to the shelf Ms. A pointed towards and get the other 2 albums. As I was setting them down I noticed that one of the pictures fell out. I go to pick it up, it's a picture of Tess when she was only a baby, and a boy who seems to be 2 years old.
