Good thing I was able to pick up Edwin's scent. I see Tess and Edwin come out of the movie theater. So I follow them. I follow them for a few minutes when I feel someone following me.
"Stop following them Nathan."
"What are you going to do to stop me Ryder?"
He catches me off guard and grabs me by the neck, he also grabs my left arm and twits it behind me, he locks me in the position.
He takes me to an alleyway behind some apartments. He pins me to the brick wall.
"You, Nathan, are making my job a lot harder than it has to be."
"What can say, I'm a trouble maker."
He slams me harder against the wall.
"Nathan just leave Tess alone."
"Ryder you know I can't. She was going to be my mate."
"Well now she's going to be Edwin's"
"You're helping him aren't you?!" I growl at him.
"No I'm not!" He growls back.
"Then let me help her get her memory back. Please Ryder. You know what Edwin did to her, and who knows if he'll do it again."
"What did he do?"
"Ryder don't act dumb, our entire friend group found out about what happened, Tess herself told me what happened: Edwin cheated on her with her biggest rival."
"Oh yeah, and then Cara beat the shit out of him."
"She sure did."
Ryder finally lets go of his grip around my neck.
"So are you going to help me?" He hesitates for a few moments.
"Okay Nathan. But only because Tess is like a sister to me."
"Thanks." I sigh in relief .
"But right now, let Tess go with Edwin, and Cara told me she was looking for you."
"I already saw her she and Keith went to Tess' house to get some photos, I better get going then and catch up with them."
"Good luck. I'll see you tomorrow then Nathan."
