Tess drops to the floor. I hurry and pull the dart out. That dart was meant to kill me! She saved me. Her body is shaking.
"Oh God." The poison is already affecting her body.
I run to attack the slayer who shot the dart. He tries to get away but he isn't fast enough. I grab him and snap his neck.
The other 2 slayers that Tess punched out of the way also try to escape, but Matthew and Nathan stop them.
Matthew takes his sword and stabs the slayer right through his heart. Nathan's claws grow out with the claw covers. He has the slayer by the neck he stabs him over his heart and swipes. His slayer is bleeding out and fast.
Matthew's POV
I can't believe all of this just happen. Tess... She saved Cara's life this isn't the first time either, she's saved Cara many times and Cara's saved her many times as well. I see them both so sad so.... Miserable. Tess was like a sister to Cara. But we have to get her back to the infirmary. The nurse, Ms. Baker is one of the best nurses/healers the academy has, I'm sure she'll heal Tess back to normal. I gather the slayers' weapons which were pretty much just daggers and swords. I see Nathan kneel beside Tess...
