His Parents Disapprove of You - Lorenzo Berkshire

Enzo's family was warm and welcoming to almost everyone, but they seemed less than enthusiastic about Y/N.

"She seems... loud," Enzo's father said, raising an eyebrow.

"And a bit... much," his mother added, giving Y/N a tight-lipped smile.

Y/N raised an eyebrow. "Interesting. I could say the same about you."

"Excuse me?" Mrs. Berkshire said, her tone icy.

"I don't mean any disrespect," Y/N said, leaning forward slightly. "But I'm not going to change who I am to fit into someone else's mold. Enzo loves me for who I am, and I don't plan on apologizing for that."

Enzo laughed, leaning his elbow on the table. "That's why I love her, Mum. She doesn't hold back."

His parents exchanged glances, clearly not expecting her confidence.

"Lorenzo, you've always had poor taste, but this...?" His Father waved vaguely in Y/N's direction.

Y/N crossed her arms, glaring at him. "I didn't realize having standards meant putting up with arrogance and outdated opinions."

Enzo bit back a laugh, but his father's face hardened. "Watch your tone, young lady. You're speaking to someone who could ruin your life."

Y/N didn't flinch. Instead, she stepped forward, her voice unwavering. "You think I'd let someone like you ruin me? I've faced worse than pompous threats. Respect is earned, not demanded—and so far, you haven't given me any reason to respect you."

Enzo stood up, his grin faltering as he watched his father's expression shift from anger to shock. "Alright, Dad, that's enough," he said firmly. "You don't get to talk to her like that."

"Lorenzo, you forget yourself. I'm your father," the older Berkshire barked.

"And I'm not a child anymore," Enzo snapped back. "Y/N is the best thing to happen to me, and if you can't see that, it's your loss, not mine."

Y/N glanced at Enzo, her eyes softening. She reached for his hand, squeezing it gently. "Let's not waste more time here, Enzo. Some people aren't worth it."

Enzo smirked, throwing his arm around her shoulders. "Couldn't have said it better myself. Later, Dad."
