His Parents Disapprove of You - Mattheo Riddle

The tension in the Riddle Manor dining room was palpable as the Dark Lord and Bellatrix Lestrange glared at Y/N from across the table.

"She's far too soft for someone with our family's... reputation," Bellatrix sneered, her voice sharp and condescending.

"And far too much of a distraction," Voldemort added, his cold red eyes narrowing on Y/N. "You have responsibilities, Mattheo."

Mattheo shifted uncomfortably, his jaw tightening. He was about to speak up when Y/N calmly placed her fork down and leaned forward.

"With all due respect," she began, her voice steady but firm, "I don't need your approval to be with Mattheo. I'm not here to meet your expectations or fit into your idea of who he should be with."

Bellatrix's lip curled in amusement, but Voldemort's eyes darkened. "And you believe you know better than me?" he hissed.

"No," Y/N replied, locking eyes with him. "But I know that Mattheo is capable of making his own decisions. He doesn't need anyone telling him how to live his life."

Mattheo smirked, pride gleaming in his eyes. "That's my girl."

Voldemort leaned forward, his crimson eyes piercing as they swept over Y/N. "Mattheo," he said sharply, "your infatuation blinds you. You've always been reckless, but this..." He gestured toward Y/N dismissively.

Bellatrix let out a soft laugh, swirling her wine. "Oh, darling, she's amusing. But let's be honest—she'll crumble the moment she faces real adversity."

Y/N's jaw tightened, but she refused to lower her gaze. Instead, she addressed Bellatrix first. "You'd be surprised how much I can handle. Just because I don't flaunt my strength doesn't mean it isn't there."

Bellatrix raised a brow, intrigued. "Feisty," she mused.

"And as for you," Y/N said, turning to Voldemort, "I don't need your approval. Mattheo knows who I am and what I bring to his life. That's enough for me."

Mattheo smirked, crossing his arms. "She's not going anywhere, so you'll have to deal with it."

Voldemort's face darkened, but he said nothing more. Bellatrix, meanwhile, gave Y/N an almost impressed look, though she didn't say so aloud.
