Third-Person POV

Jisung wandered down the hallway, following the signs that pointed toward the vending machines.

"There you are," he mumbled to himself as he spotted them tucked into a small corner near the elevators.

He dug through his hoodie pocket until he found a few bills Minho had handed him before they left home.

"Just in case," Minho had said.

Jisung smiled to himself at the memory.

After buying a bottle of water, he noticed another machine filled with small snacks. His eyes lingered on a bag of honey butter chips before he laughed quietly.

"Maybe tomorrow."

He grabbed his water and headed back toward the lobby.

By the time he returned, Minho was finishing up at the front desk.

"There you are," Minho said with a smile. "I was about to come looking for you."

"I just got some water."

The receptionist handed Minho two key cards before explaining where their room was.

"You're on the twelfth floor. Breakfast is served from seven to ten, and the pool is open until ten tonight. Enjoy your stay."

"Thank you," Minho replied politely.

The elevator ride was quiet.

Jisung leaned against the wall, still taking everything in.

"I still can't believe we're actually here," he said softly.

"I've been planning this since all that stuff happened."

"You have?"

Minho nodded.

"I wanted us to get away for a few days. Just the two of us."

Jisung couldn't help but smile.

The elevator doors opened, and they made their way down the hallway until they reached their room.

Minho slid the key card into the reader.

A soft click echoed before he pushed the door open.

Jisung stepped inside first.

His jaw nearly hit the floor.

Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the ocean, the moonlight reflecting across the water like scattered diamonds. A small balcony sat just beyond the glass doors, and a cozy sitting area occupied one corner of the room.

The king-sized bed looked impossibly comfortable.

"Min..."

He slowly turned toward him.

"This room is incredible."

Minho smiled, relieved that Jisung liked it.

"I figured you'd enjoy the view."

Jisung hurried over to the balcony and carefully slid the door open.

A cool ocean breeze greeted him immediately.

He rested his hands on the railing, listening to the waves crashing against the shore below.

"It's so peaceful."

A moment later, he felt familiar arms wrap gently around his waist.

Minho rested his chin on Jisung's shoulder.

"I'm glad you like it."

"I love it," Jisung admitted quietly.

The two stood there for several minutes without saying another word.

Neither of them felt the need to fill the silence.

Eventually Minho spoke.

"You should probably get some rest."

Jisung let out a dramatic groan.

"But I don't want to sleep. I want to explore."

Minho laughed.

"We've got three full days here. The island isn't going anywhere."

"I know..." Jisung sighed.

He finally turned around to face Minho.

"Can we at least go for a little walk tomorrow morning?"

"I was already planning on it."

"You were?"

"Mhm. There's a café by the beach I think you'll like."

Jisung's eyes lit up.

"And after breakfast?"

"We'll spend the day wherever you want."

"Really?"

"Really."

Jisung smiled so brightly that Minho couldn't help smiling back.

"Thank you... for all of this."

"You deserve a break, Ji."

His voice was soft but sincere.

"Now come on."

Minho gently took Jisung's hand and led him back inside.

After unpacking a few essentials and changing into comfortable clothes, they climbed into bed.

The room was quiet except for the distant sound of waves outside the balcony.

Within minutes, Jisung had curled closer to Minho, his breathing evening out as sleep claimed him once again.

Minho brushed a few strands of hair away from Jisung's face before pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead.

"Sleep well," he whispered.

Outside, the lights of Jeju shimmered along the coastline as the two of them settled into the peaceful beginning of their vacation.

                                     A/N:
                   ... hey... how y'all doin?...

I am seriously SO sorry for completely losing inspiration for this story y'all. I went through a horrific relationship and he was putting me through hell and it took me over a year of being with my amazing honey to finally get back to writing.

Buttt, as always I hope you're all well and are eating well!
