Third-Person POV

Soft rays of sunlight streamed through the curtains the next morning, filling the room with a warm golden glow.

Jisung slowly opened his eyes.

For a second, he was confused by the unfamiliar room.

Then he remembered.

"We're in Jeju..."

A huge smile spread across his face.

Trying not to wake Minho, he carefully slipped out of bed and walked over to the balcony. As soon as he opened the door, a cool ocean breeze brushed against his face.

The beach below was already beginning to come alive. A few people walked along the shoreline with coffee in hand while others sat quietly watching the waves.

Jisung rested his arms on the railing.

"It's beautiful..."

"You've been awake for five minutes and you're already outside."

Jisung laughed before turning around.

"I didn't mean to wake you."

Minho stepped onto the balcony, his hair sticking up in every direction and his eyes still heavy with sleep.

Jisung couldn't hold back another laugh.

"What?"

"Nothing."

"Ji."

"You just have... really cute bedhead."

Minho sighed dramatically.

"I should've known."

Jisung smiled as Minho wrapped an arm around his waist.

"Good morning."

"Morning."

The two stood quietly for another minute, listening to the waves crash against the shore.

Finally, Minho broke the silence.

"How about we get ready? I know a little café just down the street."

"The one you mentioned yesterday?"

"Mhm."

Jisung's eyes brightened.

"I'd love that."

About thirty minutes later, they were walking hand in hand along the beachfront.

The morning air was cool, and the streets weren't crowded yet. Small shops were opening for the day, and the smell of fresh bread drifted from nearby bakeries.

After a short walk, Minho stopped in front of a cozy little café tucked between a flower shop and a bookstore.

"It's so cute," Jisung said, smiling as he admired the ivy climbing the outside walls and the colorful flowers lining the entrance.

Inside, soft music played quietly while the scent of freshly brewed coffee and warm pastries filled the room.

They found a table beside a large window overlooking the ocean.

A waitress handed them menus with a warm smile before walking away.

Jisung scanned the menu.

"Everything looks so good."

"It does," Minho agreed.

"What are you thinking?"

"Hmm..." Jisung thought for a moment. "Maybe some toast and fruit. I don't think I should eat anything too heavy yet."

Minho nodded approvingly.

"I was thinking the same thing."

A few minutes later, their breakfast arrived.

Jisung's plate held thick slices of buttered toast, fresh strawberries, blueberries, banana slices, and a small bowl of yogurt topped with granola.

Minho ordered a breakfast sandwich with hash browns and an iced coffee.

"That looks really good," Jisung admitted, eyeing Minho's sandwich.

"You can have a bite if you want."

"Maybe later."

Jisung started with a strawberry before taking a small bite of toast.

He paused for a moment.

"How are you feeling?" Minho asked gently.

Jisung smiled.

"Good."

"Really?"

"Mhm."

He took another bite before looking back out the window.

"I forgot how nice it feels to just... sit somewhere peaceful."

Minho reached across the table, gently taking Jisung's hand.

"I'm glad we came."

"So am I."

They spent nearly an hour enjoying breakfast, talking about everything and nothing as the city slowly woke up around them.

When they finally finished eating, Minho paid the bill before they stepped back outside.

Jisung adjusted the camera hanging around his neck and smiled at the bright blue ocean stretching out before them.

"So..." he asked excitedly.

"Beach first?"

Minho smiled, intertwining their fingers once again.

"Beach first."
