Two Broken Hearts

I roamed my eyes in my surrounding and smiled, waved or nod to those people I know. I sighed and drink the white wine. This will be a long night.

Dapat talaga kasi hindi na ako nagpunta rito. Kaso masyadong makulit si Stacey! Last week pa lang pinapaalalahanan na nya ako tungkol sa party na'to. Tigilan ko na raw ang pagmumukmok ko. Dahil ang kagaya raw ng isang Mikha Lim ay hindi kawalan sa buhay ng isang Aiah Arceta.

I rolled my eyes at the thought. Coming from the bestfriend herself. And as if nagmumukmok nga ako. Hindi ba pwedeng I just need a break— from all of the things that reminded me of her?

"Ang lalim naman ng hugot mo! Pili ka! Bored, bored or bored ka sa party na'to?"

I arched my brow and raised my head to see the owner of the voice. No wonder. Kaya pala may diin ang bawat salita nya.

"Should I say the same thing to you?" I asked instead and followed her movements when she sat beside me.

"You know, some people should be sensitive sometimes about some other people's feeling."

Sinundan ko ng tingin ang tinitingnan nya. She looked particulary to Maloi and Mikha who had their arms in each others waist while laughing and talking to my cousin— Stacey.

"Hmm.." I rest my arm on the table and put my chin on my palm. "When you're in love I think you'll not even consider some other people's feeling!"

Colet arched her brows and smirked. "Seems like your heart had been bruised by some other people!" She teasingly said.

I rolled my eyes. "Tigilan mo na nga 'yang ka ka people mo! Buang ka!"

Napahagalpak siya ng tawa saka umayos ng upo habang nilaro laro sa kanyang kamay ang baso ng white wine.

"So how have you been doing, Maraiah Queen Arceta?"

I snickered at her. "I'm doing good so far... Ma. Nicollete Vergara!"

Napangiwi naman siya saka ikinumpas ang kanyang kamay. "Okay! Let's cut the formalities! Naaalibadbaran akong pakinggan ang sarili kong pangalan! Parang ang bantot!"

I laughed and covered my mouth with my right hand. "Uumpisahan mo tapos hindi mo mapapanindigan! Saka I like your name kaya!"

She playfully raised her both brows. "Name lang ang nagustuhan mo? Paano naman ang pagkatao ko?"

I rolled my eyes. "Huwag mo nga akong ibilang sa mga babaeng binobola mo!"

"Ay grabe siya sa akin!" Napahawak pa siya sa kanyang dibdib na animo talagang nasaktan. "Bakit ba ganyan ang tingin nyo sa akin? Si Jho, sabi niya ang dami ko raw girlfriend! Si Gwen nagpapaturo paano raw ba ang mga moves ko at madali akong napapalapit sa mga babae, tapos ikaw naman? Grabe talaga ang judgement nyo sa akin ha?"

"Oh bakit hindi ba?" I smiled teasingly.

"Hmm, I used to joke around, yeah! But most of the time I can be overly protective and caring for those na malalapit sa akin."
