"SO SHOULD I BRING IT UP?"

"Well, I'm not going to," Natasha whispered back.

"One of us has to,"

A pause.

"Rock, paper, scissors?"

"You're twelve."

Sam scoffed. "Ready?"

"Three, two, one--"

Natasha looked down to see Sam's hand balled in a fist, outstretched next to her flat hand. She smirked, silently cheering as he groaned.

"He's gonna kill me,"

"You're overdue for that, anyways."

"Morning," Sam cheerfully boomed as he entered the common area, drawing all the attention to them. Natasha's mouth hung agape, shaking her head slowly. Bucky looked over at the pair approaching him, rolling his eyes.

"I was having a nice breakfast," He mumbled, putting the bacon and egg sandwich down with a huff. "What the fuck do you two want?"

"How is she?" Natasha offered.

"She's still sleeping. Tossed and turned all night,"

"Makes sense, she did just witness her father die," Sam nodded. Natasha threw her hands up at the lack of subtlety he had. "Say, we had some questions--"

"No."

"Come on, man, y'all pulled off the con of the century and we get no explan--"

"I'm tired."

Sam scoffed. "You didn't leave your unit once yesterday,"

"Keeping tabs on me?"

"Valerie didn't leave hers either," Natasha feigned curiosity.

"Both of you need to get hobbies."

"Trouble in paradise, Mr. Barnes?"

Bucky stood up, the chair screeching as he pushed it back. He threw the sandwich in the nearby trashcan, attempting to exit the common area. Natasha and Sam followed him intently as he strode towards the elevator. He looked at them, sighed, and pressed the 'down' button.

"Where are we going?" Sam whispered.

"God--will you leave me alone?" Bucky groaned. "I need to work out,"

"Perfect, so do we,"

Bucky stepped into the elevator, clenching his teeth when they did the same. The trio rode down silently as the floor counter beeped quietly. He stood in front of them, hands crossed behind his back, and head straight. Behind him, Natasha and Sam shared a silent fist bump.

"So, why'd y'all sleep in separate units? Was living with you really that hard?"

"For your information," Bucky grunted, stepping out of the elevator the second the doors opened. "A lot happened in her life two days ago. She just needed some space,"

"Just tell us about this plan. How did you guys come up with it?"

Bucky sighed loudly, stepping onto the modified treadmill. He started a light jog, head bopping back and forth between the pair who propped their elbows on either side of the treadmill. "We discussed this as we were packing our things after the meeting where you voted against her staying. We thought of ways we could lure MONA in and end them, once and for all. Easy enough. They'd figure out our new location in a heartbeat, we weren't naive about that. But once they did, we needed to be careful about how they could capture her,"
