Virat returned to the room and sent Rahul Bhai and Jassi with Rohit to make the necessary arrangements, as they would be staying there for a while.

"Sir, should we get the luggage from the hotel first?" Rohit asked as they got into the car.

"Yes, sure," Rahul replied.

When they reached the hotel, Rahul Bhai suggested they wait while he brought the luggage. Rohit offered to help, but he declined.

Rohit noticed Jassi silently resting his head against the window, a tear or two escaping his eye.

Rohit gently held his hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. "He is gonna be okay," he said softly.

Jassi let out a shaky breath. "He asked me to move in with him... He was so happy this morning, telling me how excited he was about us staying together," he said quietly, his voice laced with emotion.

Rohit wrapped an arm around Jassi in a comforting side hug. "He will be okay, Jassi. You have to be strong for him," he said gently, offering reassurance.

Rahul bhai soon returned with the luggage, pulling the bags towards the car. Rohit immediately stepped out to help, lifting the heavier ones into the trunk.

"Thank you, Rohit," Rahul bhai said with a small nod.

"Of course, sir," Rohit replied, closing the trunk securely before getting back into the car.

As they drove towards Virat's house, the car was silent. Each of them was lost in their own thoughts— Jassi staring out of the window, Rohit gripping the steering wheel a little too tightly, and Rahul bhai occasionally glancing at the two younger men.

But amidst all their individual worries, one thought remained the same— Aman. They all just wanted him to be okay soon.

"Get freshened up, we will leave in a bit," Rahul Bhai said, moving to his room upstairs. Rohit helped him with his luggage.

Rohit quickly freshened up and packed a change of clothes for Virat. He ordered dinner to be delivered to the hospital so they could have it together.

Jassi, still quiet, went to freshen up as well. Rohit glanced at him but didn't push him to talk—he knew Jassi needed a moment to himself.

After placing Virat's clothes neatly in a bag, Rohit checked his phone for any updates from the hospital. There were none yet, but he hoped for good news soon.

A knock on the door pulled him from his thoughts. Rahul bhai stood there, now dressed and ready. "Let's go," he said, his voice calm but firm.

Jassi joined them a moment later, and without another word, they headed out.

The car ride to the hospital was quiet, the weight of the situation heavy on all of them. Rohit just hoped that when they got there, Aman would be a little better.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Virat was pacing outside as Aman had been taken for additional tests. He tried to stay calm, but he was failing miserably.

Aman was finally shifted back to his room after the tests. Virat immediately rushed to his side, his heart hammering in his chest as he waited for the doctors to speak.

"The good news is that, as of now, surgery may not be necessary," the doctor said, glancing at Virat, who let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. "However, the pain and recovery process will be long. We need to monitor him closely for the next few days to be certain."

Virat nodded, gripping Aman's hand gently. "Whatever it takes, just make sure he's okay," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

The doctor gave him a reassuring nod before leaving. Virat sat beside Aman, brushing a hand through his hair. "You're strong, kiddo," he murmured. "You'll get through this."
