"Jade!" yelled Mr. Stone, her advanced robotics teacher. "I'll see you in my room after class."
"Yes sir," she replied.

Ring, ring, ring! Went the bell. Everyone was off to whatever they had scheduled next. Jade just sat in the corner and watched as Artemis and Wally went down the hall hand in hand.

"Turn around!" Mr. Stone yelled. "You're being punished!" She knew this all too well. Why was she always the one getting in trouble? Artemis and her were cut from the same cloth. Why'd Artemis never get in trouble or get caught or get punished? She had to stay there until her next class which wasn't for another two hours. She sure wished she was her sister. Then she'd never get in trouble. Not ever.

Her two hours were soon up and Jade flew out the door and straight into a physics exam. "Oh great! Oh crap!" Jade mumbled. "I forget this was today." She took it anyhow and surprisingly she made a B on it. Of coarse, Artemis one upped her and made an A+. "Show off." Jade complained. "She thinks she's so much better than me. How I wish I could wipe that smug little look off her face." She knew she wasn't allowed though. Three of the teachers were members of the staff maybe even four at most and she knew Billy would stop her if she ran into him. She knew Artemis and her friends would too. Even Super Girl would like to have a go at her. She was helpless here. Harmless here. At least, she saw something in one of the other villain children named Lynn Gilroy Jones aka Torch. Torch saw something in her too. She could feel it in her heart. Next thing she knew, he asked her if she wanted to be his girlfriend. All she could think to say to Lynn was simply this, "heck yes!"
