That following day, Kurt gets a surprise visit from his father. "I thought you were banished," Kurt said when he saw Azazel. "I was, but your mom snuck me back in," Azazel replied. "She's great. You have a lovely baby sister too," he added, "you're lucky." Kurt is happy to see his dad, truly he is. "Why are you here?" Kurt asks. "Isn't it obvious? To see you," he replied. "Father," replied Kurt, "you were never around when I was a child, so why now? I'm almost fully grown. I'm in college for crying out loud! Just go dad. Just go." Azazel leaves with a sad, depressed goodbye. Deep down in his heart though, Kurt was truly glad to see his father again.
"Who was that devil man that came to see you today?" Spyke asked Kurt. "My father," Kurt replied. "He was banished when I was a baby." "Oh," replied Spyke. "At least you don't live with your aunt every weekend and holiday," he says. They both laugh at that. "No seriously," Spyke says. "Sure Auntie O is great, but she also is strict and holds me back from my full potential sometimes." They leave it at that and head to class.
Scott and Jean don't have any classes so the baby can stay with them. Jean sure is happy about that. She and Scott finally get to spend some time with their baby. Of coarse, they know that the following day and Nathan has to go back to Lawna and Link to be babysat once again. She knows it's what she has to do but it's not something she likes to do. Alas, she really has no choice.
