"Uncle Jon," asked Meghan, "once I graduate, would you give me and Connor your blessing?"
"Yes, of coarse I will, Meggy," he replied.
"Uncle Jon, you know I can't stand it when you call me that. Sure it was fine when I was little, but I'm in college now. Now it's a bit weird and embarrassing. I hope you understand."
"Of coarse I understand, just messing with you sweetie," he responded.
She runs off and goes to tell Connor. He doesn't even mind that she asked her uncle. He's mellowed out since then when they were on the Young Justice branch of the Justice League. Now he doesn't care one bit about what she asks her uncle. He doesn't even care that she asked for his blessing for their marriage once they graduate. Jon knew it was going to happen soon or later anyway, so he went ahead and gave them his blessing.
