It's like death won't stop. Wally soon gets a call from his parents that he hasn't heard from since high school. "What is it? What's wrong?" Wally asks them. "Your grandmammy," said his mother, "she's dead. The funeral is Saturday. You better come." "I will," he replies and drops the phone which shatters into a million tiny pieces of broken glass. "That's my sixth cell phone," he whines. He has the money and the plan, so he whips away and buys the newest model cell phone and is back before class even starts. "Oh the advantages of being fast," he sighs. "What's wrong?" Artemis asks. "My grandmammy died," Flash replied. "Her funeral is Saturday. I'm going. I have too."

Saturday comes and Wally goes to his grandmammy's funeral along with the rest of his family. She's to be buried right beside his grandpappy Otis West. Wally takes it hard as do his parents. She was a huge part of their lives especially his growing up. "At least, it's not my parents," he selfishly thinks to himself. Once the funeral is over, he rushes back to the college and locks himself in the dorm for hours and crying himself to sleep. Artemis dares not disturb him. She knows he's had a rough day. All everyone can think now is poor Zatanna, poor Wally.
