Cara has finally started to recover. Her confidence in herself is still down. Brainiac is still trying to console his sweetheart. Clark is still in guest quarters in case she still needs him. He is her cousin after all and right now she needs him. Now more than ever. What she doesn't need is for him to tell her his thoughts on Brainiac Five.
By the end of five weeks, she's completely recovered and Clark brings up the subject of Brainiac. "I just don't have a good feeling about this cos, but it's your choice. You are a woman now."
"I love him," she replies. "Nothing can change that." He leaves it at that. "Oh one other thing," says Clark, "I'm leaving tomorrow."
"Bye then Kal!" Cara replies.
"Goodbye little princess," Kal-El replies.
"Bye," she says and hugs him.
She's going to miss her big cousin. At least, he doesn't still see her as a teenager. He sees her as a grown woman now. That's all she could ever ask of him.
