The day after the funeral, Dick returns to Ole Jack Haly's grave one last time. There he sits down and cries. "I miss you, Jack," he says as tears roll down his cheeks. He doesn't know what to do now that Jack's gone and he's retired from being Nightwing. After staying for hours and crying at Jack's grave, Dick catches a plane back to Genosha City and back to school at Genosha Quintin U.

The next day back in his dorm, Dick sits in quiet and turns through an old photo album and stares at pictures of him and Jack or him with his family and Jack. His eyes tear up as he looks through the album. All the good memories. Now, the last good part of his childhood is dead. There's no way he's getting over this. After all, Jack was family and losing family is never easy.

Meanwhile, the other students are enjoying their Sunday with their families. Meghan is spending hers with John, Wally is spending his with his aunt and uncle and cousins, and Tim is at a football game with Bruce. Right now, Dick would rather be alone than at a sports game. Bats and Tim know this all too well. They'd feel the same if their close friends had just passed away.

"What's Dick's connection to Jack Haly?" Asks Tim curiously.
"Jack Haly was Dick's circus master. Dick was part of the Flying Graysons. After his parents fell to their death, I took him in," replies Bruce. "Dick always considered Jack family which is why he went and spoke at Jack's funeral." The two then head home.
