"Marchel" yelled the teacher. "Marchel!" Marchel was a stuck up new wannabe superhero from Jersey. Everyone thought him a jerk including all the professors and teachers and staff who had to put up with him. He was part cyborg, part human, all intelligence. His mother died after he was born. His father was a scientist and did experiments on Marchel as a child. He turned his son into a cyborg. Marchel hated being half machine. He absolutely hated it. Alas, he couldn't help it. He'd always be part machine.
Red Arrow's joined the team at the college as well. He's the new vice principal under Red Tornado. He doesn't mind it. He just doesn't like it. He's also the college's new head of security as well. One thing he's not though, is Speedy. He'll never be Speedy. He'll always be the one person on the League without a true name. He knows that. His name while he works at the college though is Chief Ariteus Hunterman. All the children though, know who he really and truly is though. He's Red Arrow. Nothing can change that.
"Marchel," said Red Tornado calmly.
"Yes principal Tornado," he replied.
"I somehow understand how you're feeling except that I'm not a cyborg like yourself. I'm a genuine robot. A real machine. It can be a lonely world sometimes. We feel like we just don't fit in. Like we don't enjoy things like holidays or anything like that. We may not fit in at times or at all, but that's what makes us stronger. Rejection makes a hero stronger. You're the only one who needs to be proud of yourself. Your opinion of yourself shouldn't be a bad one because it's the only one that truly counts in the long run."
"Thanks," principal Tornado says Marchel. "That was some really helpful advice and I'll try to follow it and I promise I'll try even harder to be myself and stay out of trouble."
