The students have just returned from spring break and we're glad to have them back. All of them head straight for their classes right away except for Zatanna, Jean, and Scott.
"What's wrong?" Jean asks her.
"That cursed helmet," replies Zatanna, "the Helmet of Fate. It's taken over my dad. I'm used to it but not really at the same time. I hate that cursed artifact and hate that it's a part of our lives."
"There, there," says Jean now taking a crying Zatanna in her arms. "We all don't have morning classes, so why don't we talk over some coffee." Zatanna nods and the three walk off to get coffee and to talk.

Meanwhile, in his first class back, Kurt can't sit still. He's excited and just wants to move around. He hates sitting still. He also hates tight spaces and jam packed classrooms. How he wishes he could just teleport somewhere or turn into a bird and fly away. Alas, he can't skip class though he wishes he could. He'd rather be cramped than expelled. That's for sure.

Meanwhile, at the Quinn Cafe on the campus, Jean, Scott, and Zatanna talk over coffee.
"How long has your father been under the helmet's control?" Asks Jean.
"Since I was sixteen, so about five years now considering I'm twenty one in a few days."
"How powerful is the helmet?"
"Oh you mean Naboo, the master of the helmet, he's the most powerful sorcerer of all time even more powerful than Merlin," replies Zatanna.
"Well, we'll find a way to free your father, we promise," reply Jean and Scott.
"That's very nice of you and all, but I don't think we can. Naboo doesn't tend to let go of his host body. Not without a dire cost," replies Zatanna.
