Clark stays for a few days in the guest quarters at the college to keep an eye on the still recovering Cara. Brainiac is relieved she's still alive. Clark doesn't care for him to be honest. He's never much cared for Brainiacs organic or not. That's disappointing for Cara because she really loves Brainiac Fiversome.
"Cara," says Clark, "I'm just glad you're alive. That killer girl, Caroline, won't be hurting you again anytime soon." She falls into his arms and hugs him and begins to cry. He didn't dare mention Brainiac because he knows that all she's been through has been hard for her. He'll mention it once she's back to her normal, happy, tough self. He'll just let her heal before he mentions anything relating to Brainiac Five.
