Chapter 21

Harry's pov
When we went to sleep Mackenzie couldn't lay in my arms, it hurt her head to much. So she laid on her side and I laid on my side cuddling her. I hate seeing her in pain. I tried everything to make her feel better, she said she was fine but I could tell she wasn't. She told me, "Harry I can handle pain, I've been hit millions of times and I'm use to it."
I hate that, I hate that she's use to pain. She doesn't deserve that kinda of experience. It breaks my heart to know that these things happened to her everyday. I think that I took that memory away, but yesterday brought it all back. No one deserves that to happen to them. It hasn't happened to her in six months until that day.
That night I held on to her the tightest I've ever held on to her. I wanted to keep her safe unlike I did yesterday day. I feel terrible for letting this happen to her, she says its not my fault but it is.  If I would've kept her safe that wouldn't have happened.   I can't sleep, it's four in the morning and I can't sleep.  I keep thinking of how I could've kept her safe. 
"Baby, I know your awake." She whispered
"Kitten, go back to sleep." I said
"I can't, I know your sad and I can't sleep knowing that." She said sitting up.
I sit up with her, "I'm sorry kitten, I'm keeping you up."
"No I just want you to know that's it's not your fault." She cried
"Baby don't cry."  I hug her
"Harry, it's not your fault, stop thinking it is. Please, It makes me upset."
"Im sorry." I say petting her head
She burrys her head in the crook of my neck.
"Will you please stop thinking its your fault, because it's not."
"I will, I love you."
"I love you too."
"Does your head still hurt?" I asked
"No."
"Come here." I hold out my arm
She lays her head on my bare chest. I sing Little Things to help her falls asleep.
I kiss her head before she falls asleep in my arms. 
~Morning~
I woke up but I didn't wake her up, she needed her sleep. I see her slowly rise her head up. 
"Good morning baby." I said
"Morning Harry. Oh my god your black eye is practically gone!" She squeals
"See I told you your kisses make feel better." I smile
"How do you feel?" I ask
"Fine." She replied
"Are you sure? Do you need anything?" I asked
"Harry, I'm fine. Awe your so cute when your worried." She kissed my cheek
There was a knock at the door before Louis walks in
"How do you guys feel?" He asked
"Perfect." Mackenzie whispered looking deeply into my eyes
I look deep into her eye, "leave." I tell Louis while waving my arm. 
I carefully cup her cheeks so I don't hurt her and gently press my lips into hers
"Stop being so soft." She smirked
~6:00~
Me and Mackenzie were in the living room watching a movie. She was curled up into a ball with her head on my chest.
"Harry I was going to tell you this earlier but, you guys were pretty busy." He smirks "we have an interview at ten tonight on the late late show."
"Ok."
"Kitten you wanna come?" I asked her.
"Yeah sure" she replied.
"Want me to put makeup on you." Mackenzie asked
"What?" I laughed
"No," she shook her head. "I mean cover up your black eye so people don't know what happened."
"Well they probably will find out some how, but why not." I shrugged
"Come on." She pulls my into the bathroom
"Your so cute when your excited." I said looking up at her from the toilet where she sat me down.
"Ok I'm going to put your hair up so its out of my way." She pulls my hair back out of my face.
She kneels down so she's at my hight. I stare into her beautiful brown eyes. She grabs her makeup bag off the counter.
"Ok, you ready?" She asked
I slowly nod my head never taking my eyes off of her.
"Why are you staring at me?" She asked blushing
"I really wanna kiss you right now." I smiled
She stares into my eyes, then shakes her head falling out of her trance
"Stop detracting me." She said
"Wait your not going to kiss me?" I pout
"Later, after I do this."
"Please." I begged
"Let me cover up your black eye." She whined
"Fine, but you gotta kiss me after." I said
She rolled her eyes, "yeah ok."
"Ok done." She says stepping back.
"You can't tell I put makeup on you." She said
"Thanks, now kiss me." I pleaded
"I need to get ready." She whined
"But." Pouted
"I don't understand why your so attracted to me right now, I have your sweat shirt on, no makeup and I look gross."
"Babe, don't say that. I love you for who you are, you don't need makeup you look perfect anytime of the day. And you know I love you in my clothes." I said hugging her
"Let me get ready, then I'll kiss you." She said
"Fine."
She walks out wearing a beautiful with lace shirt with a skirt. She look so beautiful like always.
"Now what about that kiss." I smirked
"No, we're going to be late." She teased
I stick out my bottom lip, "please."
"I'll kiss you when I want" 
I grabbed her hand on we walk out the door with the boys
We were back stage and the show was about to start. 
"I'm going to go sit in my seat." She pecks my cheek
"You tease." I mumbled
"I heard that." She yelled walking away
"I love you." I yelled back
"Love you." She yelled back before she vanished into the crowed
"Awe." Liam cooed
"You guys are cute." Niall said
Then we hear, "One Direction." Witch was our cue to go on.
We walk on stage and my eyes lead to the audience to look for Mackenzie. I see her and wave to her and she waved back. 
"How are you guys?" James asked as we sat down.
"Harry?" He asked
"Yes."
"Did you get a new tattoo?"
"Yes it did." I pull up my sleeve showing my heart tattoo
"Actually, this is me and Mackenzie's matching tattoos." I explain
Everyone awed
"How is she?" He asked
"Good." I said
"How long have you guys been dating?"
"Six months." I said
"They're always keeping us up." Louis said
I smile
"See that," Niall said. "That's the Mackenzie smile."
"What?" I ask
"You always smile like that when your thinking of Mackenzie." He replied
"Well I love her don't you smile when you love someone." I say forgetting we're on live TV
"You love her?" James asked
"Of course, she's my everything." I look in her direction
"I love her with all my heart."
"Is she in the audience?" He asked
I nod my head
"Have her come down." He suggested
"Ok." I said
I look over to her and she shook her head.
I get up and walk into the audience.
"Come on babe." I mouth as I walk to her
I finally get to her seat and and pick her up
"Harry...stop." She laughed
I get back to the stage and make Mackenzie sit down
"Hello, Mackenzie." James said 
"Hi. " she said looking embarrassed
I put my arm around her
I completely forgot that we were on live TV, "you know you never kissed me."
Everybody "ooohhhed " 
Then I realized where we were, "never mind."
"No, kiss." He said
"Yeah, kiss." Liam laughed
"Kiss, Kiss, Kiss." The crowd chanted
I look Mackenzie in the eyes, she looked into mine. My whole mind went black, the only thing I thought about was Mackenzie.    I cup her cheeks in my hands and pull her into a gentle kiss.  We kissed for about ten seconds before we snapped out of our trance. We pull apart from our kiss and the audience awed.
"I love you." I whispered
"I love you too." She whispered
"Okay, okay you love birds." James joked.
Mackenzie stayed with us the rest of the interview. James asked her couple of questions too.
"So Mackenzie's," he stared.  "You've been dating Harry for awhile, have you gotten any hate?" He asked
I can see that she didn't want to talk about that night.
She nods her head, "me and Harry just got back from England. At night the boys went out and I stayed home.  I went on my phone and found terrible things about me and Instagram and Twitter."  She said.  She wants to cry, I can tell, but she's being brave and held back her tears.  I pull her closer to me
"They called me ugly, fat, mean, and a slut." I see a small tear fall down her cheek.
"But Harry helped me, he made me believe that I wasn't those things." She smiled looking at me
"Thank you."
We got home around midnight
"Babe, you know you didn't have to tell the story." I said
"I know, I just wanted everyone to know how good of a boyfriend you are." She hugs me
"Thank you." She whispers
"Your welcome."
