"Y/N Wilson... I love you."

"Y/N Wilson..."

"Y/N Wilson-ssi!"

At the persistent call of her name, Y/N's mind snapped back to reality. Startled, she jolted in her seat, blinking eyes reflecting in confusion.

She glanced around, finding her classmates looking at her with amusement. But it was her teacher's gaze that finally caught her attention and the stern look on her face.

Y/N let out a nervous laugh, she quickly attempted to cover up her distraction by flattering her, "Haha... You look beautiful than usual, seon-saeng-nim..."

The teacher raised an eyebrow at Y/N's comment and responded with a tone of mock offense. "Are you implying that I don't look beautiful in usual?"

Y/N's eyes widened at the teacher's unexpected response, her panic growing as she struggled to find a suitable reply. The laughter from her classmates only added to her growing sense of embarrassment.

Before Y/N could find the right response, the teacher let out a small scoff and shook their head. She then turned their attention back to the lesson.

Y/N sighed in embarrassment and exhaustion, her head leaning on her table to rest. As she looked up, her eyes met those of Mina, her expression mirrored sympathy and concern.

Mina's lips moved silently, as she mouthed a "You okay?" Y/N, struggling to hear the quiet question, managed to understand. She showed a small, thankful smile and nodded gently to reassure Mina that she was alright.

Mina, relieved that Y/N was alright, warmly smiled back before turning her focus back to the teacher. However, knowing her friend, she could tell there was something on Y/N's mind.

Y/N, attempting to put aside what happened with Chaeryeong, tried to focus in the lesson. However, despite her effort, her concentration kept being broken.

"Y/N-ssi!"

Again...

"Y/N Wilson-ssi!"

And again...

"I'm sorry..." Y/N whispered to her homeroom teacher, Mrs. Kim, who's also her aunt.

Mrs. Kim let out a sigh, her head shaking in resignation. "You should be grateful that none of your teachers decided to get your parents involved." She said, a touch of relief in her voice.

Mrs. Kim added, admitting with a hint of concern, "I wouldn't be able to protect you if they did."

Y/N remained silent, her head lowered and gaze fixed on the floor as she nervously bit on her lip. She understood her mistake and couldn't help but feel guilt and shame.

She was all too aware that her actions had, almost, once again, caused disturbance to her aunt, who had to intervene to protect her.

Mrs. Kim stood up from her chair and gently placed her hand on Y/N's head, tenderly ruffling her hair. "Go ahead and grab your lunch."

Y/N raised her gaze from the floor, meeting her aunt's eyes. In her gaze, a mixture of guilt and shame was evident.

Words remained unspoken, but the silent expression showed a multitude of emotions and a silent apology.

Mrs. Kim asked curiously at her stare, "What is it?" but Y/N only shook her head in response. Y/N made the choice to brush aside her feelings of guilt and shame.

A faint smile with a hint of annoyance appeared on her face as she tried to remove her aunt's hand. "Not my hair!"

Mrs. Kim playfully feigned annoyance, her voice is soft as she gently pushed Y/N. "Come on, get out of here. I don't want to see your face anymore."
