The room echoed with applause as Dahyun concluded her performance, standing up from the piano seat. She bowed to the audience and her hands lifted at the sides of her dress, reassembling a princess's curtsy.
As she stepped off the stage, her steps a little shaky from the adrenaline, Nayeon appeared out of nowhere, wrapping her arms around Dahyun and hugging her tightly.
Caught off guard, she almost lost her balance but quickly steadied herself, returning the unexpected embrace with a mix of surprise and delight.
"That was amazing, Dahyun-ah!"
Nayeon exclaimed with excitement as she pulled away from the hug and moved her hands to cup the younger girl's cheeks, her touch gentle and affectionate.
"Thank you, unnie..."
Dahyun's voice was soft and slightly shaky as she thanked Nayeon, still feeling the nerves from her performance.
"The girls are here too."
Nayeon moved aside, revealing the presence of the other girls who had been waiting nearby, all eager to offer Dahyun their congratulations.
"You were fantastic, Dahyun-ah! Well done!"
Chaeyoung praised with a radiant smile as she extended her arms towards Dahyun, inviting her into an embrace. Dahyun gladly responded, moving towards Chaeyoung and melting into her open arms.
"You improved so much. It was perfect."
Jeongyeon said, her tone genuine and acknowledging the progress Dahyun made. She pinched her cheek lightly, an affectionate gesture, making Dahyun chuckle.
Tzuyu stood at a distance, her eyes fixed on Dahyun and the others, a pang of guilt and regret coursing through her. She wanted to approach, but guilt gnawed at her, holding her back in hesitation.
She was jolted out of her thoughts as Sana suddenly jumped onto her from behind, the unexpected surprise causing her to let out a small gasp.
Turning around, she met Sana's playful smile and also found the last missing members behind her : Momo, Jihyo and Mina.
