"We'll be waiting for you, unnie."

Y/N remained silent and distant, unable to answer. She had pushed them away, she was convinced that she didn't deserve their kindness.

She clenched her shirt tightly, her heart pounding wildly with guilt, her teeth biting down on her trembling lips.

After moments of hesitation, she finally spoke, her voice shattered.

"C-Chewy-ah... I... I'm sorry...! It's all my-"

Before Y/N could finish her sentence, Tzuyu abruptly vanished, replaced by a familiar and unwelcome voice echoing through the air.

"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!"

Y/N's gaze darted around, her heat sinking as she recognized the surroundings- her so-called father's office.

A cold, spacious room filled with classical black and white furnishings, devoid of any warmth or comfort.

Suddenly, she was grabbed by the wrist with a paining force, her arm twisting and hurting from the tight grip.

"Look at me when I'm speaking."

She was forcefully turned around, her head forced to face her so-called father, his cold gaze fixed upon her.

Before she could even protest or attempt to break free from his grip on her wrist, she felt a sharp sting on her cheek.

Her father's hand, strong and unforgiving, had landed forcefully on her face. The sound of the slap echoing loudly through the room.

Immediately after, he gripped her face with a ruthless hold. He turned her face towards him, making her facing him.

"Why are you never listening to me."

A sinister smirk slowly curled upon his lips, his expression taking on a playful and sadistic quality as he spoke.

"What should I do to make you listen to me, huh...?"

His words were laced with a hint of amusement, which showed he's pleasure in this situation.

Digust and fear surged within her.
The sight of his face, his expression and his sadistic smile filled her with a sickening feeling.

But just as she tried to turn her gaze away, her surroundings seemed to close in on her like a trap.

She was confronted with a nightmarish sight-mirrors everywhere she turned.
Her heart raced, her breathing becoming shallower and louder.

The sight of her father's face, his smile, his grip on her face stirred a deep sense of unease inside her.

But what bothered her the most...

The reflection of herself on the mirror. Or rather of her younger self- her weak, vulnerable and helpless childlike self.

The mirrors seemed to mock her, forcing her to confront a past that she desperately wished to forget.

"I'm sorry."

"I'm so sorry, dad."

"I should have listened to you."

"I'll be a good girl from now on."
