"Let go of me."
Y/N firmly commanded, her cold tone sending a shiver down Tzuyu's spine.
Tuzyu's hand, still tightly wrapped around Y/N's, instinctively let go as she was startled by her harshness.
Realizing, she quickly attempted to reach Y/N's hand once more, but her fingers only grazed the air, her attempt falling short by a mere inch.
"No... W-wait..."
Y/N was walking away without a backward glance, leaving Tzuyu standing, her arm slowly falling back to her side.
But then, she froze momentarily at the unexpected shout that rang through the hallway.
"Tomorow is the last day to submit participation forms...!"
She didn't bother to turn around or slow her pace, but the information registered in her mind nonetheless.
As she kept walking, Y/N vanished from sight but Tzuyu's gaze remained fixed on the spot where she was a moment earlier.
"Do you know that all eyes are on you?"
Chaeryeong's sudden appearance made Tzuyu jump in surprise, her attention abruptly shifting to the girl now standing next to her.
"We're here too."
Ryujin said as she and Yeji appeared behind Tzuyu out of nowhere, making her jump in surprise for the second time.
The three girls chuckled softly, amused at Tzuyu's surprised reaction even though they knew she wasn't in the mood for any of this.
"Here you go, candy always helps lift your spirits."
Ryujin offered Tzuyu a candy and placed the sweet treat in Tzuyu's hand, hoping it would a bit of joy amid the tension.
"Candies? I would have preferred snacks."
Yeji chimed in, expression her preference, and snatched a few candies from Ryujin.
"You say that but you still take my candies, huh."
Ryujin responded with a clear tinge of annoyance in her tone, clenching her fist like she was about to give a punch.
Tzuyu's gaze was fixed on the candy in her hand, her mind drifting far away as she absentmindedly stared at it.
"Stop! Argh... Tzuyu-ssi, help me!!"
Chaeryeong's cry for help jolted Tzuyu back to reality, her attention snapped to the situation in front of her.
Yeji was holding Chaeryeong's arms from behind, while Ryujin stood in front, trying to force a candy into Chaeryeong's mouth.
"Come on, it's just one candy, it won't hurt you!"
Ryujin cajoled Chaeryeong with a mix of annoyance and teasing, urging her to accept the candy.
"No—"
*Chuckles*
The trio abruptly halted their actions, their attention immediately drawn to Tzuyu as she let out a soft chuckle.
Initially, the three girls looked puzzled, caught off guard by Tzuyu's unexpected chuckle. But as the moment lingered, a warm smile spread across each of their faces.
"You're finally smiling."
Yeji spoke softly, a note of relief in her voice as she released Chaeryeong's arms.
"That's much better!"
Chaeryeong added enthusiastically and took Tzuyu's hands in hers, her grip warm and comforting.
