Chapter XXX

As time went on, the situation surrounding Y/N and TWICE seemed to continue on with no sign of improvement.

Everyone was curious, and to satisfy their curiosity the students continued to spread rumors and gossip. The absence of any confirmation fueled their imaginations, driving them to invent rumors.

"According to the rumors, Y/N had feelings for Mina, but Mina is dating Chaeyoung!"

"Perhaps something happened between them, leading Y/N to distance herself from them!"

"I also heard it was because of Lee Chaeryeong!"

"Isn't Lee Chaeryeong the one who was expelled from the dance club?"

"Yes, her!"

"I've heard that Y/N has been seen with her a lot lately!"

"Apparently, Chaeryeong was expelled from the dance club just because of Momo-sunbaenim!"

"Momo-sunbaenim?"

"That's right. I heard that Chaeryeong was supposed to get the lead role, but then she was expelled, and Momo-sunbaenim got the role instead!"

"Really?! Y/N must be really upset with Momo-sunbaenim for that!"

"It's so low! Using her power just for a lead role."

As students continued their rumours, they immediately went silent when a firm and icy voice cut through their whispers and echoed throughout the hallway.

"Hey."

As they turned to the voice, they met Sana, who didn't look that happy, accompanied by Momo, Jeongyeon, Nayeon, and Chaeyoung.

"S-Sana-sunbaenim..."

As Sana's intense gaze swept over the hallway, they found themselves freezing in fear, like deer caught in headlights.

"Mind about your own problems."

Sana firmly stated,  leaving no room for negotiation in her tone.

"Y-Y-Yes, Sunbaenim!"

The students replied hastily, intimidated by her intense glare, before running away.

"Whoa, I never knew you had that side, Sana."

Jeongyeon, amused and slightly taken aback, commented.

Momo, concern in her eyes, approached Sana and wrapped her arms around her girlfriend, seeking to reassure and soothe her.

"Hey, calm down."

"How can I calm down?! They're blaming you for something you didn't do!"

Sana exclaimed, her voice tinged with frustration as she buried herself into Momo's embrace, her head resting on her shoulder.

Momo gently rubbed soothing circles on Sana's back, trying to calm her down, and whispered a soft 'Thank you' in her ears.

"Okay, lovebirds. We need to go. Jihyo called us, remember."

Nayeon chimed in, interrupting the intimate moment between the two Japanese girls.

The two Japanese girls exchange a quick glance, slightly annoyed at the interruption but they had to go or else Jihyo will scold them etc...

"But I'm still curious," Sana began, her voice tinged with uncertainty.
"Why was Jihyo-unnie's role as president of the council student was taken away and suddenly given back to her the next day??"
