Chapter V

As the months passed by, June arrived, bringing with it a heat wave that made the days suffocating. Blooming flowers added a touch of color to the scenery. Anticipation filled the air, as the summer vacation was just around the corner, and everyone counted down the days until the longed-for break arrived.

Mina developed strong bonds with the girls, particularly with Sana and Momo. Given they came from the same country, it was no surprise that they shared a strong connection. Alongside these bonds forming, there were also other changes occurring within the group. Momo and Sana had started dating each other.

Flashback

"Momoring~~ are you angry? Did I do something wrong?"

Momo was walking faster than usual, not waiting for Sana. Her emotions of anger and jealousy clearly showing on her face. If you were wondering why Momo was feeling upset, it was because of Sana's flirty nature.
As usual, Sana would jokingly flirt with everyone around her, and Momo was always there to witness it. However, this time, something within Momo snapped, and she could no longer control her feelings.

Momo stopped abruptly in her tracks, forcing Sana to stop as well. She turned around and faced Sana, her eyes filled with unshed tears. When Sana observed Momo's pained expression, a mix of emotions washed over her - worry, sadness, and a hint of guilt. Even though she had no idea what she had done wrong, she could not stand watching her dearest friend like that.

"Momo? Why are you-" Before Sana could ask anything, Momo cut her off.

"Why... Why are you always flirting with some stupid girl!? Why can't you just look at me?!" Momo couldn't contain her feeling anymore.

"Wh-what? I don't understand..."

"Of course you don't understand..." Momo stopped a moment, nervous about what she's going to say "Aishiteru... Sattang..." Momo finally confessed.

Sana just stood there, frozen, trying to process what she said.

"Why can't it be me..? Am I not good for you..." Momo mustered a forced, bittersweet smile, as tears streamed down her face, silently falling down her cheeks.

After taking a moment to gather her thoughts and fully grasp the confession, a soft smile slowly spread across Sana's face, her expression filled with both happiness and relief.

"You find it funny..? Sattang-" Momo felt hurt as she witnessed Sana's smile, misinterpreting her expression as a callous disregard for her feelings. Her words were abruptly interrupted by the unexpected sensation of a pair of lips pressed against hers.

"Watashi mo aishiteru, Momoring..."

Present

The two are now a happy couple and the first couple in Twice. The girls already knew their feelings for each other, they were too obvious but two girls was more obvious than them : Nayeon and Jeongyeon. They might be bickering everyday and anytime, the girls knew they liked each other, only the two was oblivious they felt the same for each other.

A sudden shift occurred when Mina, who had a history of rejecting confessions, surprised everyone by agreeing to date someone. The girls immediately recognized "that someone" as Chaeyoung, and the revelation not only caught them off guard but also sparked a mix of curiosity and surprise amongst the group.

Classes had finished, and the girls decided to go to the music club to hang out together, the room filling with their chatter about Mina and Chaeyoung.
