From that day forward, Mina and Y/N returned to their previous behavior with each other. Gone were the silent gazes and avoidances, replaced by an increased attentiveness on Mina's part. Y/N, too, made a conscious effort not to cause any more worry to her.
Observing the change, the girls couldn't help but notice the shift in their action. Everyone was relieved and happy to witness their relationship getting better, yet they couldn't shake the feeling, especially a certain cub, that there was something more to their interactions. Of course, it was oblivious to the said two girls.

The end of the semester meant a well-deserved break for everyone, and the Summer Festival was the perfect opportunity to have a good time.
The anticipated summer festival approached, and the excitement for the upcoming event filled the air. The festival's promise of festive activities and the chance to enjoy the warm summer nights had everyone buzzing with anticipation.
Saturday, in front of the Summer Festival
Nayeon was growing impatient as she waited, with Jeongyeon, Jihyo - who in the end, didn't have duties of school council's president - and Y/N beside her for the rest of their friends to arrive. Her frustration mounting as the minutes ticked by.
"Where the f.ck are the others??" She exclaimed, It was already 7:28 PM, and they had agreed to meet at 7:30 PM sharp.
"Language, Nayeon." Jihyo's stern voice cut through the air, her glare a silent warning to Nayeon.
"There are still 2 minutes left." Y/N said.
The clock's steady ticking echoed in the air, the seconds slowly passing, and Nayeon was getting more and more impatience.
"See, they're here." Jihyo said as she pointed to the girls walking to them.
Everyone's attention turned to the approaching figures of Dahyun and Tzuyu, followed closely by Mina and Chaeyoung.
"Except Momo and Sana." Jeongyeon added.
"It's always those two..." Jihyo let out a tired sigh as she shook her head.
"Annyeong! We're not late right?" Dahyun's cheerful voice greeted the waiting group as the four girls approached.
Amidst the chatter of the group, Mina quietly made her way over to Y/N. She greeted Y/N warmly with a cheerful tone.
"Annyeong, et enY/N."
"Myoui, annyeong!" Y/N greeted back. "Excited for today?"
"Yes! It's been so long since I've been to a Festival!" As the two spoke, an unnoticed pair of eyes observed their interaction.
After what felt like an eternity, Momo and Sana finally made their appearance, panting and visibly out of breath. It was clear that they had run to the meetup spot. Gasping for air, Momo collapsed onto the ground, their bodies exhausted from the rush.
"You two are late." Chaeyoung said then extended her hand to help Momo get up, while Mina did the same to Sana.
"It's not my fault. Momo didn't know how to read the map!!" Sana quickly pointed an accusing finger at Momo, placing the blame on her.
"Yah! You don't know how to read the map either!!"
"Stop arguing! Why are we staying here when we can go have fun at the festival!" Nayeon exclaimed and quickly started running towards the festival grounds.
