Classes were soon about to start, yet Y/N and Tzuyu were still on the school's rooftop, the time passing away unnoticed as they remained together.

Tzuyu reached into her bag and retrieved her phone, intending to check the time. Y/N glanced over at her, her attention now focused on what Tzuyu was doing.

"Time for class, right? You should go. I'll stay here for a few moments." Y/N gently suggested.

"It's alright. One missed class won't make much of a difference." Tzuyu replied as she put back her phone in her bag.

Y/N's smile widened as the memory of their past encounters came to mind. She remembered about the times from the previous year where it was initially just her skipping class, until Tzuyu had eventually joined her in skipping.

"It's been a while since we skipped class together."

"Yeah..." Tzuyu observed the sky, her gaze then occasionally shifting towards Y/N.

There was a question in her mind that she wanted to ask, but she feared that bringing it up might disrupt the comfortable atmosphere between them.
After a brief moment of hesitation, she mustered up courage and decided to voice her curiosity.

"Unnie..."

"Yeah?" Y/N had a smile on her lips, but it quickly faded as Tzuyu finally spoke up with her question.

"Did something happen with Mrs. Kim?" As Tzuyu posed her question, she could sense the air between them growing heavy and serious.

"I don't mind if you don't want to talk about it." Tzuyu hastily spoke and offered a nervous smile, attempting to lighten the mood.
However, Y/N remained silent, her gaze fixed upon the sky. After a moment of silence, Y/N broke the silence.

"It's... It's just my parents.."

Tzuyu stayed silent and nodded. She knew Y/N's family situation and felt bad for her.
Even though Tzuyu didn't press further, Ruka couldn't help but let her thoughts pour out, the words coming out before she could stop herself.

"I just... I don't understand them." Y/N ran a hand through her hair, frustration and confusion clear in her voice.

"They are never there for me. They throw me money and think that's enough. They come back for a few days and act like everything is fine and then leave again. It's so...
They always say the same thing. 'The family business is important.' or 'You need to learn to take care of yourself.' as if that excuses everything. They leave and disappear for days, months and years even, and expect me to be fine when they come back."

Y/N's fists clenched on her lap, her knuckles turning white from the tight grip. Tzuyu took notice of Y/N's clenched fists.
Tzuyu gently reached out and took Y/N's hands in her own, holding them tenderly and offering silent support and reassurance through her gentle grip.

"I've always tried to understand them, Tzu. I really have. I know they're doing it for the family and all that, but... sometimes it feels like they care more about the family's business than they do about me."

Tzuyu listened, understanding the importance of giving Y/N space. However, seeing her in such a state made it difficult for Tzuyu to distance herself. She let go of Y/N's hands and enveloped her in a warm embrace.
The touch of Tzuyu's arms around her provided a comfort that Y/N hadn't realized she desperately needed. She took a shaky breath before continuing, her voice quieter this time.

"It just... it feels so lonely sometimes. I'm just... tired of it all."

"Unnie, you're never alone. Whenever you feel lonely, reach out to me, or to any of the girls. We're here for each other, always. We won't let a single friend be alone. We won't replace your parents, but we will be your family, bound not by blood but by our words. I already consider you as my unnie, my energetic and kind unnie." Tzuyu spoke in a soft, gentle tone, her words filled with reassurance. She continued to hold Y/N in her embrace.
