Mia sighed as she stepped out of the council room. Justice was the first to receive her in the hallway.

"I can't believe you actually pulled it off with that little act." He said with a small smile plastered on his face.

Mia was beginning to really start seeing Justice as a friend at this point.

"Well, I can't believe it myself."

She really couldn't and it was evident in the subtle shock that sat in her voice.

Justice chuckled lightly beside her.

"I can see how shaken you are about the entire event." He said, "why don't I take you out for a bit. Get your mind off all that had happened." He suggested.

A smile tugged at her lips but she lowered her head so he wouldn't see it. By the time she looked back at him, her face was straight.

"Alright, where to?" She asked him with an excited eagerness.

"Right this way." He said and they both laughed at the way he gestured like a gentleman.

The moon was already raised high up in the sky, in its rightful place. The sound of old wooden instruments blasted in the local pub. The air was filled with laughter and the sounds of cups slamming hard on the table.

Mia was laughing hard at whatever the bartender was telling her. She doubled over and had her palm pressed against her stomach as she tried with herculean effort to keep her stomach muscles which were beginning to constrict from laughing so much and so hard from aching her so much.

"I'm telling ya, they have got a very little brain up in that palace." The bald head round man said as he wiped the cup in his hand with a brown torn rag.

"Oh, you don't mean to say!" Justice exclaimed, "you don't seem to be very sensible yourself."

His jab earned him a frown from the bald bartender.

"Well, then if it hurts you so much I kindly ask that you stop with your bad mouthing because I work there to make a living." Justice said defiantly.

Mia was watching the both of them with keen interest as they argued back and forth from one topic to the next.

"Oh, don't mind him, he's just grumpy." Mia said to the bartender with an excited grin on her face, "I am certainly with you on this one."

"Blimey!" The bartender said and dropped the rag on the table with such force, "I have other customers to serve. You two are eating into my time with your jokes. Now, if you would please, excuse me." He said politely and weaved his way through to the other side of the counter to attend to the line of impatient customers.

"Tell me about yourself, Mia." Justice said.

She turned to him before tearing her eyes away and taking a sip of wine from her cup.

"What do you want to know?" She asked him.

"Everything." He responded.

That made her laugh out loud without intending to.

"There's nothing to know about me. I'm just plain and silly, that's all." She said, clearing her throat and immediately composing herself when she saw he hadn't laughed with her like she thought.

"That can't be true." Justice said and took a sip from his cup, then he leaned into Mia, "I've seen the way Aaron looks at you."

Mia shifted in her seat uncomfortably and blinked her eyes multiple times as she tried to understand where he was going with what he was telling her.
