Chapter 2 jennifer

"What's your name? How old are you? Do you know what street you live on?" I started asking the little girl questions to get her mind off of her fear of being lost. She wiped a tear away from he face and began to answer my questions "Jessica. 4. Chensen road." She said and I started walking to chensen road.
     It didn't take long to find Jessica's mother because she was yelling her name "Jessica! Jessica baby come home!" Jessica got all giddy and I almost dropped her "mommy! Mommy I'm over here!" I put her down so she could run to her mother who held her tightly and picked her up glaring at me "were you trying to steal my precious baby?" She accused and I put my hands up backing up a little "no no no ma'am" she kept throwing accusations at me When Jessica put her hands up in her mothers face "no mommy!" She shouted to get her attention, when she got her moms attention she continued "he saved me, I was lost mommy, but he found me and helped me home" she said. She was smart for a 4 year old.
       She squirmed until her mother put her down and she ran to me as I bent down knowing she was going to hug me, which she did "thank you for saving me big brother" she said kissing my cheek I patted her head and said "it's not a problem little sister." I said well knowing I had no family. She ran back to her mother and I went on my journey back to school.
      I, of course, was late to school and when I walked into class people noticed me "welcome back raiden. It has been a while since you've been to school" she knew very well why I've been gone all I did was nod, keeping my hood up to cover my face. "Do you want to tell the class why you were gone for so long?" She asked, trying to get a rise out of me I just looked at her and said in my deep voice "you know very well why I was gone" she smiled and tried to act innocent "but raiden the class doesn't know. You can sit in your Seat until you tell the class." She said smiling so I turned to the class "the reason I was gone" I said lifting my head to look at them and let them look Into my eyes "was just like any other reason, every time I've been gone. I failed to commit suicide, sorry for living everyone Yep I failed to do what I was told to. Sorry Jacob I won't die easily, Maybe if I keep smoking I'll die younger than expected" I smiled a demented smile "may I sit in my damn seat?" I asked my teacher, not turning to face her. I heard her gulp from fear "y-yes raiden, t-take a seat" she stammered.
     I went to my seat, not expecting someone to be right next to me, I looked at them through the rim of my dark hood and noticed his looks. He looked like a goody goody. He had a button up shirt with a sweater vest over it, his blond hair was neatly Combed. He wore kackies and nice shoes. I noticed his bright blue eyes looking at my dark brown eyes, which was studying him, making it look like I was checking him out. I blushed and hid my face in my crossed arms on my desk, like I was sleeping.
     ""You like him don't you? Are you gay? Faggot! You can't like boys! If you do you'll only get hurt just like hazel hurt you!!""    "-Den... Raiden...raiden! Raiden I'm calling on you" I sat up suddenly causing me to hit the book the teacher had above me head which I growled at "that hurt" I said rubbing my head "well maybe you shouldn't sleep when I'm pairing up partners." She said and I looked at her waiting for her to say who my partner was to be "er you will be partnered with Toby." She started walking away "wait, who's Toby?" I asked. A couple of girls giggled while a couple boys chuckled and the teacher just snorted "the new boy sitting next to you, he got here as you left" she said and I glanced over at him and saw him waving at me, smiling. I clicked my tongue "tch" and put my head back down, listening to the project.
      I fell asleep, the reason I know this is because I was punched out of my desk. Literally, someone punched me in my gut which caused me to throw up the Crimson red that I only like to see coming out of my delicate wrists. "Get up bitch, you have no time to be sitting around when you have somethin to be jumpin off of" it was Jacob and his crew, I smirked wiping  off the blood that remained on my face "Jacob I'm no ones bitch, I do what I want when I want now if you'll excuse me" I said standing up pushing him away "I have a cigarette that needs someone to smoke it someone being me " I walked out of the classroom and noticed footsteps behind me, I took a shortcut to behind the school, I still heard the footsteps.
      I turned around and glared at the person behind me "what do you want?" I yelled asking him. It was Toby and he seemed scared "n-nothing b-b-but i n-need to ask ab-bout the project." He stuttered looking nervous. I had a confused look on my face until I realized what he was talking about "okay fine come with me" I said walking to the door to the outside
