Amy continues to roll around in pain. She grows confused when she looks down and sees no wound. Her heart begins to pound abnormally, and her eyes widen, "Son...ic..."
She looks around the empty chambers and attempts to stand. Amy hobbles over to the gate, "Ugh...I...I have to find him...I need to get out of here." She scans the prison, desperately trying to think of a plan. Her eyes stop at the barred window leading outside. She takes a deep breath, trying to ignore the pain, and walks over to the window.
The window was high up, and there was nothing in her cell she could use to stand on. She attempts many jumps, but they each result in her falling to the ground in pain.
She looked at the window sadly, readily giving up. Amy huffs and punches the wall, "Dammit! Ugh, this is stupid! There has to be something I can do! Anything! I know Fenriz is up to something, and if I don't get out of here...if I don't help him..." She slides down the wall in frustration.
She puts her head in her hands, "What is wrong with me...? Why didn't I see this before?! I should've seen this long before it happened! I've been able to guide a group of thieves out of more intense situations ever since I was a child. I always think ahead...I'm meant to have a plan for everything I do. Always think ahead, Amelia. Be smarter than your enemy, Amelia. Your mind is your greatest weapon, Amelia! You know this, Amy! You should know this...! So why...?!"
She curls up, "...Why am I so worthless?"
Amy looks down at her necklace, staring at the faded light blue gem. She tears up. "I am a descendant of an ancient god. I am the daughter of the greatest knight in the entire nation. And I'm no greater than I was before I realized it. I've ruined everything...and now Sonic might...I might..."
She sniffles, "...Father, what am I to do? If you were here...what would you say? What would you think of me? Your own offspring turned sour and succumbed to the ugly plague of anger. Then she becomes the one thing you despised the most...a criminal. Forgive me, Father. You thought high of me...so much so you hoped I would be enough to save the Prince...and Mobius. I can't even save myself."
Amy closes her eyes, "If we never meet in death...it's been an honor being your daughter. An honor I don't deserve." She grips her necklace, "Mother...I wish I knew more about you while you were alive. I was a gift to you–Your precious gift, as you'd say. But I'm not worthy of being your daughter. I'm sorry I've dishonored your names. I just wanted the truth, for me...for my friends..."
She rolls up her sleeve and looks at the scar she got from Sonic. She then turns her attention to her renegade tattoo, "...At least you girls are safe...I'm ever so grateful you girls are safe...but I wish I could see you guys one last time. You'd hate to see me give up so easily. But if this is my time, I hope to leave you with a bit of relief. I pray that my efforts were enough...to bring you peace. Rouge...Blaze...Shade...Cream..."
She frowns, "...Cream?" Her necklace shines brightly, and she gasps.
A thought crosses her mind, and her eyes light up. She carefully rushes to her feet and makes one big jump, clamping tightly on the bars. Amy holds on for dear life, struggling against the pain, and musters up the strength to let out a loud bird noise.
