"I'll be right here when you get back," Aurora gave me a reassuring smile as she wrapped her arms around me and nuzzled into my chest.
I bent down to kiss the top of her head and readjusted myself before slipping my shoes on, since we were in front of my door.
"Let's look at the bright side, he might tell you some really useful stuff? Either way I think you'll feel better going rather than not going and never knowing," she explained, resting her hand on my back as I checked my pockets.
I turned to face her with a big smile on my face, matching her adorable one.
"You just look so cute, maybe I'll stay home afterall."I cheesed pulling her into a bear hug again and showering her face with kisses while she giggled. She cleared her throat and gently pushed me towards the door again, trying to put on a stern face.
"Babe no, you have to go. We spoke about this last night, it'll be good for you to go." She said.
I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair, she was absolutely right. Also the quicker i did this the quicker I could come home to her.
Come home to her. Sounds so perfect.
"Alright alright, you're right. I'll message you or call you on my way back then okay?" I said, stepping closer and turning the door handle.
"Okay, I'll see you later. I love you," she said, walking towards me and pressing a gentle kiss on my lips; but before I could pull her in for a longer kiss she pulled away and pushed me out of the door.
She doesn't know what's coming to her when I get home.
None the less, her doing that ended up being the exact time that Reginald called me to say he was outside. Usually I would drive there but since I was coming straight back it really made more sense for him to drop me there and drive me home; he had to go somewhere nearby afterwards anyway he said.
"I'm outside, can you see me?" Reginald's voice rang through my phone as I walked out into the parking lot. My eyes scanned the area until I saw his car waiting on the left hand side, responding with a yes I ended the call and made my way over to the car and got inside.
"Right let's get this shit over with Reginald, were you able to find anything else out?" I asked as he handed me some coffee he ordered and pulled out of the parking lot.
"Absolutely nothing man, in terms of Charlie's case though it looks like he won't be there for very long at all. His lawyers are going to pay a fine and request he gets put into rehab for his drug use- so realistically he'll only be there for another month. Maybe even less than that." Reginald explained as he drove, I huffed but also knew the outcome already.
"So with all that why the heck would he want to talk to me?" I mumbled under my voice and looked out the window.
"Guess we'll find out, also how did it go with you and Aurora?" He asked, I stared out the window to avoid seeing the smirk on his face.
