Goodbye

In the quiet of the night, where shadows softly creep, memories linger like whispers, secrets that we keep.
What once was a garden, where love bloomed in the light, now lies in the stillness, devoid of vibrant sight.
We danced under the stars, with hopes wound in our hands, promised forever in the warmth of shifting sands.
But time, sly and elusive, unravelled every thread, and dreams we wove together now echo in my head.
Your laughter filled the air, a melody so sweet, but now the silence hovers, where our hearts used to meet.
Each word we shared, a treasure, now lost in the abyss, and what was once a promise tastes bitter in the mist.
Goodbyes are never easy; they cling like morning dew, a heavy heart remembers the warmth of "I love you."
Yet, amidst the sorrow, I find a flicker of grace for even broken love can find its rightful place.
So I'll honor the moments, both tender and profound, the lessons learned in silence, the beauty that we found.
With every tear that falls, a seed of strength I sow, for though it's time to part ways, my spirit will still grow.
Goodbye to what was once bright, a flame that gently burned, but from the ashes, I'll rise up, anew, unturned.
With each step towards the dawn, I carry what we shared, transforming hurt into hope, for love is never scared.
So here's to the journey, as paths begin to change, to the love that once was spark, now woven into strange.
For in the heart's deep chambers, the echoes softly play, goodbye to who was my love, but hello to a new day.
