In the velvet cloak of night, where shadows dance and merge, I once thought I walked alone, on solitude's cold verge.
But lifting eyes to inky skies, a silver orb I see.
The moon, a silent confidant, keeps steady watch o'er me.
Its gentle glow, a beacon bright, cuts through the darkest hour.
Illuminating hidden paths, with soft, celestial power.
No longer lost, no longer lone, in this nocturnal scene.
For in the moon's embracing light, new courage I can glean.
It guides my steps on unseen trails, through forests thick with doubt.
A constant friend amid the stars, that helps me find my route.
So in the dark, I'm not alone, this truth I now can see.
The moon shows me the light I need, to set my spirit free.
