Though whispers say this isn't real, I'll close my ears to their refrain. For in this realm, I truly feel a joy unmarred by waking's pain. Here, your touch feels ever near, your laughter echoes clear and true. The barriers that kept us far have melted like the morning dew. So let us stay, entwined and free, In this haven spun from sleep. For even if it's fantasy, It's a treasure I long to keep. Don't wake me with the harsh light's gleam, or pull me from this sweet embrace. I'd rather live within this dream, than face a duller waking place. For now, let's float on gossamer wings, in a world crafted just for two. Where love defies all earthly things, and every moment feels anew.
