Shadows cling to me like a second skin, ghosts of yesterdays whisper within. My soul, a labyrinth of unquiet pasts, yet in this maze, your love steadfast. I am haunted by memories untold, by dreams unfulfilled and heartaches old. My laughter echoes with a hollow ring,
Still, your love embraces everything. You see the specters that dance in my eyes, hear the phantom screams, the muffled cries. Where others flee from my internal night, you stand firm, holding me tight. I warned you of the demons I keep, of restless nights and secrets deep. But you chose to stay and gently said,
"I love all of you, living and dead." In my darkest hours, when ghosts draw near, your love shines bright, dispelling fear. You don't exorcise or try to heal, you accept the hauntings as part of what's real. So I remain haunted, but no longer alone, your love, a beacon guiding me home. In your arms, my ghosts may forever rest, for in loving the haunted, you love me best.
