In the silence that follows, a shadow takes flight, she cradles her sorrow, embracing the night.
With pills as her comfort, she sought to escape, yet tangled in anguish, her heart starts to ache.
A flicker of hope in her dreams lay concealed, a wish for tomorrow, her fate yet unsealed.
In the depths of despair, a longing arose, for life's tender moments, the joy and the woes.
So she lingers in twilight, between worlds she will roam, awhisper of longing, a search for a home.
In shadows she wanders, where darkness may creep, yet deep down she knows, there's a promise to keep.
