Heart aches with each passing beat, a dull pain, persistent and deep.
Memories and worries intertwine, stealing rest, blurring time's line.
Pillow damp with unshed tears, clock ticks on, feeding fears.Body exhausted, soul unrest, this night, another restless test.
Racing thoughts like shooting stars, each one leaving mental scars. Heart heavy with unspoken words, emotions stirred, yet unheard. In this quiet, lonely hour, beneath night's vast, dark bower, I lie awake, silently yearning, for peace of mind, for sleep returning.
