Chapter 42 - Roller Coaster

It has been already a week at the beach house and I've been avoiding Daniel for 3 days straight . My friends and I are currently walking towards the beach house at the end of the street for a party , thanks to Jenna . She was the one who got us into the party because her dare was to join a random conversation and now here we are .

It looks like the whole block came for this party .It doesn't look like no ordinary house .There is a water slide inside the house along with hot tubs with a huge dance floor in the middle of the house which is already crowded .it looks like a billionare .

" Jenna " a guy says running up to her and giving her a hug . " You guys all made it " . He looks a bit familiar to me as he hugs all of us . After a few minutes of conversation and introducing ourselves , Derek , the guy who owns the house left .

"Okay if one of you guys are going home inform someone else before leaving " Lucas says right before we separated. Nicole makes a slight remark about is as usual which makes us laugh .

I tag along with Nicole and Brandon since Istill trying to avoid Daniel . He is just so ignorant . He thinks as soon as he realizes he's in love with me , I will be running back into his arms like I am waiting for him . He just loves to push my buttons .

Brandon arrives back in a minute handing me a coke while Nicole got some vodka. Nicole and I sway to the music as Brandon is trying to talk to us but the music is too loud . He will somehow give up since we just keep laughing at him . My eyes roam the room and lands on of course Daniel with a brunette sitting on his lap . She is obviously flirting with him and he even has his arm around her waist .

Why is he with that girl ? Why is he whispering in her ear ? Why is she giggling at him ? What is so funny ? Is she some kind of rebound ? Why does he look happy ?

His eyes roam the whole house and it lands on me . My eyes widen as I realize I am still staring at him . This is looking like a contest, of who can act like they care less . He breaks the eye contact by pulling the girl closer to him . The brunette continues to talk to him as I glare at her .

" Why are you staring at him " Nicole asks me . " Wait is there something I don't know " she continues while I keep looking back and forth from Daniel and her .

Lacey and Jenna happily walks to us and that is when I blurt out " Lacey and Daniel broke up . " I quickly get up and walk away but Lacey always gets her way by stopping me .

"He told you " she whispers, letting go of my arm and looking at the Nicole , Jenna and Brandon . They were beyond confuse about the situation at the moment . I nod my head and she looks like she saw this coming . I explain how he told me about it starting off with the argument .

" Jasmine , Daniel gave you that ring for a reason " Lacey says and looking at my hand to see if I have it on but I didn't because two nights ago I threw it across the room .

"So what is he doing with that ding dong " I said and they all look towards his direction . Nicole gave me a knowing look because she knows I am jealous .

Lacey dissappears in a blink of an eye and is already talking to Daniel . He looks worry and quickly removes the brunette off his lap .Lacey begins to walk away and head upstairs with Daniel behind her .

" Daniel thinks this is a plan to get you more jealous " Brandon says as I turn around and look at him weirdly since he thinks this is funny .

Anthony comes and takes a seat follow by James . Brandon informs them wit the situation as I think .I shouldn't be the one stressing so much Daniel . He drives me crazy but Noel is the one that is like a calm waterfall .
