The Complication of Boys

Chapter 5-The Party was Something

I walked through the dancing bodies to the kitchen and Daniel was following me. Jenna stop to talk to me but I had no idea what she was saying. I just nodded by the music was so loud that the whole house was shaking like a mini earthquake.Jenna smiled at me and started to talk to Daniel. I walked into the kitchen to grab a drink but stalled time when I saw Dallas in a corner with a group of friends.I wanted him to see me but I didn't want to barge in between the group.So I just stood there by the drinks sipping slowly and just staring at him.His group of friends walk away and I ran up to him as fast as I can.

"Hey "he said as soon as we made eye contact.

"Hii"i said awkwardly .

"So you look great ", he said

"Oh thanks ", I said while blushing.

"When did you get here?",He asked.

" I just got here" I said.

"And you're already talking to me "he said while raising an eyebrow.

"Is it weird because you told me to get you to notice me and here you are noticing me "I said laughing.

He chuckles "you're cute .

"I like you" I blurted out and slapping my forehead.He might think I am weird and too foward.

He smirks and walks away .Then , turns around and said "Come and find me later".

I was stunned and thinking about the text message that got sent from an unknown number.I will go to the balcony later .I am just going to drink nonalcoholic beverages and dance.I didn't want to be drunk .

As I was getting another Arizona ice tea, I saw Brandon with Daniel. I walk up to them and they were just looking around .I ask Brandon where Nicole is and he said she was with Jenna. I looked at Daniel , his expression was amused but honestly I forgot about our kiss when I was talking to Dallas. Some random girl pulls him to dance and I was smiling at the way he danced.

Brandon breaks my trail of thoughts he tells me how Nicole is dancing with all these random guys and might be drunk already. I look at my phone to see the time and only 1 hour have passed.I screamed at Brandon and said"Go after her and tell her how you feel or you would regret it".

Brandon face looked suprised .Wow I may be a hypocrite.I wait for boys to make the first move but I keep holding them back . I don't even know who I want it's just complicated for me with boys.Oh my gosh I forgot about the balcony meet up with Dallas or someone. I turned to Brandon to tell him about the messages but he wasn't there.I look around and oh my gosh he was making out with Nicole right there in the middle of the dance floor.I look at Jenna in excitement and she gave me the same expression .I left to go upstairs to the balcony but I don't even know who I am meeting , I think it's Dallas.As I open the doors to the balcony I see James their looking up at me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I am here to see you"he replied.

"Why did you break up with Nicole and told her all thoes things and why do you want to see me?" I asked .I was so confused that it was like I was drunk.

"I didn't mean all thoes things to her, I just needed an easier way to break up with her"He said motioning me to sit down.

"Why did you want to break up with her?"i asked.I know I kept asking questions but I don't understand what 's going on.

James let out a big sigh and looks around .He turns to me holds my hand and said the words that I didn't want to hear but was flattered.

James just told me he likes me and decided to choose me over Nicole. I like him too alot , like he's cute, has a great smile , funny and at the lunch table we kept looking at eachother alot but I thuoght it was friendly.

"Ughh , you can't just -

James kissed me and I was honestly loving it.His kiss was so passionate and tasted like candy.I froze but went with the flow kiss him back .I wasn't really thinking at the moment but that kiss was an amazing .We stop to catch our breath and both smiled at eachother .

"As you were saying "he whispers.

I just grabbed him closer to me and started to kiss him again so spontaneously. Just then Nicole barges in and we froze and stand up.Nicole was devastated and crying.

"I have nothing to say to you" she said and threw her drink in James face.He mummbled a few curses.

She turns to me and just cried.

Then she looks at me and said"You just broke the trust with me.I can't believe what I just saw .I hate you .I hate you .I hate you.Don't even speak to me .You are so fake .I thought you were my friend but you go behind my back kisses my ex the day we broke up .I could slap you right now but I choose not to because I am going to act like the bigger person".

She walks away as Jenna and Brandon was there the whole time.They gave me a look of disgrace.Jenna walks up to me and said "What the hell ?You just ruined girl code and honestly you could do better.You are trash for doing that to Nicole.Don't ever talk to me either unless you have a good apology and Nicole forgives you".

She pushes me and walks away .I look at Brandon and Daniel.When I was about to talk Brandon stops me and nods his head no ."You ruined this whole friendship that we are leaving now without you.Go find your own way back home "he said .

Daniel says bye to me and kisses me on the cheek.

"Why are you leaving with them after that kiss we had"I said.

He smirks and says "Well , you have someone else here that you just made out with .I don't think it meant anything to you as it meant to me so that pretty sucks".

My eyes were full in tears.I ruined my friendship with the best people that I could ever have with just one stupid mistake .I turned around to look at James but he was gone .I am a wreck but I guess only alcohol is all I need right now .
