Chapter 47 - It's my decision! I'm already an adult

"I love you more!"

The couple arrived at the restaurant and everyone got up to greet them.

"Hi dad, how was your trip?"
"Hi princess. It was great! Tell me, how are you feeling?"
"I'm good. I'm very relieved now to be honest."

Freen greeted Rawee and the older woman asked:

"Freen, my dear, what did doctor Shanti say?"
"Mom, he said that Becky had a serious injury, but she's in an amazing recovery."
"Oh, thanks God!"
"Yes, I must admit that I was supporting her all the time, playing the strong girlfriend, but from inside I was desperate. It's so hard to me to see her suffering. Besides, I couldn't help but feel completely responsible for this..." The thai girl said lowering her head.
"Hey, don't do that to yourself. We both know that it wasn't your fault at all, my dear. Becky has already told you that and asked you to stop saying this, huh?"
"Yes, I know..."
"So, let's leave that behind, ok?"
"Okay mom." Freen agreed smiling.

They started to talk after greeting everyone. Becky told her family the news about her ankle and the Armstrong family got really relieved.

They ordered some snacks and drinks for everyone and while they were talking animatedly, the caucasian girl informed her parents and brother:

"Guys, we're going to mom Num's place today."
"Becky, no, you're still..."
"No mom, please, stop it! I'm already much better and doctor Shanti already said that I can go back to work, of course, taking the necessary precautions. Therefore, going to mom Num's house, where I will do absolutely nothing, is no problem at all." The younger Armstrong said decided.
"That's right BecBec. Go and enjoy your mother-in-law a little!" Richie senior said trying to soften the atmosphere between mother and daughter.

"But Becky isn't a hundred percent recovered yet. And that can bother Num..." The woman tried to find excuses.
"No mom, don't worry. As you know, my mother has invited us to stay a while with her, but Becky declined because she couldn't put her foot on the ground. But even though, my mom wanted us to sty there with her. Now things are much better, so don't worry, it won't bother at all." Freen said softly.
"But..."
"No mom, stop it. I've already said what am I going to do. It's decided, I'm not asking for permision." Becky said annoyed.

Freen looked at her girlfriend scolding her with her gaze.

"And there's more. Today, while I was at doctor Shanti's office, mr Nattapong called Freen saying that for some reason, the shootings have been stopped for 2 months, but that the salaries of all the actors will continue to be paid, so that no one gives up on the series."
"Really? Oh my princess, that's great! So that you'll have more time to recover." Richie senior said happily, trying to make things better.
"Yes dad. It seems they had a problem at the set and will be necessary some time to fix it." Freen explained.
"Exactly. And I decided with Freen, of course, to go back to the hotel we were staying, to take advantage of the stay that was already paid for."
"Becky..."

Richie senior gave his wife a disapproving look.

"And for the record, as soon as I see a physiotherapist, Freen and I are going on a trip as we need to keep our relationship a secret, this is one of the few chances we will have to spend some time together away from all this, without having to worry."
"No Rebecca.  You won't go!" Rawee said.
"I think I didn't make myself understandable, mom. I'm not asking for permission, I'm communicating, out of pure consideration. I am already of legal age, independent, support myself and I don't need anyone's permission!"
"BB." Freen said softly.
"Jô baby, this is unacceptable! My mom must understand that I grew up. I'm not a child anymore, I'm an adult!"
"My love, please..." Freen said one more time.
"Baby, I'm already 21 years old. It's time to understand that I'm in charge of my own life! The decision is mine, and no one else's more."
"Teerak, would you please come to the toilet with me?" Freen said in an attempt to make her girlfriend stop fighting.
