Chapter 5 - Confession

"Because is very clear that for Freen I'm just the little sister, just a child."

Becky' words hurt Nam's heart, not only because of  the pain with which her friend said it, but because she knew that it wasn't true. But how does she tell her that without telling her how does Freen feel? Would she have that right? But on the other hand, is it fair to let the girl suffer like this without saying anything and let her believe it? Nam was struggling...

"Becky, I can't say much, because it's not up to me to tell you that. But I can assure you that Freen doesn't see you like that..."
"Ha, of course not!" The girl mocked.

Nam sighed, clearly frustrated that she didn't think she could tell Becky the truth.

"Becky, you have this fixed idea that Sarocha sees you as a child. But you don't even want to talk to her. She's desperately trying to talk to you to explain herself, but you won't let her, you refuse to talk to her..."
"Why talk to her? To hear again that I'm a child? To hear that she sees me as a sister? No, Nam, I can't take it anymore! I don't want to be her sister, I already have a brother! And Richie is wonderful! And honestly, to hear that I'm a nong... please!"
"Becky, if all this bothers you that much, prove her wrong!"
"But that's called self-preservation, Nam! She drives me crazy about it. This is way more than I can bare!"
"You are pissed thinking Sarocha is treating you like a child, but how are you behaving here, Rebecca?"

The thai/british girl was furious! And then, she asked with teary eyes:

"What do you want from me, Nam?"
"First, that you're brave enough to admit what you feel for Freen..."
"Oh, is that it? Okay,  I LOVE FREEN! I LOVE HER IN A WAY THAT I NEVER EXPECTED TO LOVE SOMEONE! I LOVE HER SO FUCKING MUCH THAT IT'S FREAKING ME OUT! I LOVE HER SO MUCH THAT I TAKE HER EVERYWHERE IN MY MIND, JUST TO LESSEN THE FUCKING LONGING I FEEL FOR HER. WHENEVER WE'RE AWAY FROM EACH OTHER! I WOULD GIVE UP THE WORLD JUST TO FEEL HER SLEEPING OR EVEN BEING IN MY ARMS! Are you happy now?" Little Becky was a little out of control.

Nam was satisfied. Now she knew it was a matter of time for her friends to come out.

"To be honest, yes! And now I'm gonna tell you some things. All you have to do is to pay attention, okay?"

Rebecca was numbed, so she just nodded. Actually she was scared with her recent discovery: she was so in love with Freen.

"Becky, you didn't surprise me by saying you're in love with Sarocha."
"No?"
"Absolutely not!"
"How..."
"Oh, N'Becky, are you serious?"
"Nam, not even me knew it... I just realized it now, when you pressured me. How did you know it?"
"Oh my little one... The way you always look at her, and when you lose yourself in her, staring at her... The way you smile when you see her or listen to her voice or even hear her name... not to mention how much you care about her. Right now, you chose what you'd take her to eat even before ordering your own lunch. And all the jealousy you show without any fear? Ah, Becbec,  only those who love a lot act like this! Do you want a proof? I have some vídeos of you alone  and with Freen. Want to see the difference?"

The light brown-eyed girl was speechless.

"God, am I that obvious?"

Nam giggled.

"You wanna see it or not?"
"Yes, please."

When the older actress started showing the videos, Becky got amazed and shocked as well. It was really obvious...

"Nam..."
"You see? Want another clue? When I call you nong you don't care. But when it comes from Sarocha... look what happened. I mean, you don't care if I see you as a little sister or even a child, but if that comes from Freen, it hurts you deeply. What is this if not love?"
"How did you notice that and I didn't?"
"You already knew that too, nong. You were just in denial. Have you already been in other relationship before?"
"Yes, but nothing serious. Besides being too young, I've never felt anything like what I feel for Freen for anyone else..."
