Sorry for any typos<3

I don't think Taylor actually went to prom three times(she might've just gone twice) but for this, we'll just say she went three times:)

Elizabeth's pov

I spent as much as I could avoiding Cal, not wanting to talk about the activities that happened for as long as possible.

I've also seen Adam a lot since then, 'cause he's my best friend of course. And thankfully he hasn't mentioned what happened at all.

But eventually, I couldn't avoid him forever since we have multiple classes together and are still in the same group for that class project.

After the bell rang to signify the end of the school day, I grabbed my stuff and left, trying to get out as soon as possible incase Cal tried to talk to me.

I managed to get pretty far until I felt someone calling my name. "Liz! Liz!"

I kept walking, pretending like I didn't hear anything. But eventually he caught up with me. "Liz, c'mon."

I sighed and stopped walking, turning to face him. "What, Cal?"

"Why are you ignoring me?" He asked.

"I'm not." I shrugged.

"Yes you are." Cal sighed. "Is it cause of the kiss?"

"Take a guess." I snarked.

"I'm sorry! I didn't think when it happened. I just was looking at you and you were talking and your lips were right there and you're so cute and I just couldn't-"

I didn't know what came over me, but I suddenly surged forward, connecting our lips together again. Cal let out a sound of surprise before kissing me back, placing a hand on my cheek.

A few seconds later, I broke out of the kiss and stepped back. "Uh..."

"Now do you get when I was coming from?" Cal asked, smirking.

"I mean, a little." I shrugged. "But I wasn't just mad that you kissed me."

"Oh, then what was it?" He asked, pulling his backpack tighter on his shoulders.

"I was made because that was my first kiss, Cal. And I wanted it to be more special than that. I wanted it to be in a private, calm environment and not in front of a school with kids barreling out of it." I explained.

"Oh," Cal said, staying quiet for a few seconds like he was thinking about something. "I'm sorry, Liz. I didn't know that."

"I know you didn't, it's okay. I guess I just freaked out a little when it happened." I sighed.

"Well, are we cool now?" He asked, his eyebrows raising hopefully. "We're cool." I nodded.

"Great!" He smiled. "So, uh. Then I have a question." He asked as we began to keep walking towards the exit of the school.

"What's up?" I asked.

"I was wondering if... maybe, you wanted to go on a date... with me?"

"Oh. Uh..." I mumbled. This was not what I was expecting. But I did kinda like Cal. I've just never been on a date before.

"Sure." I finally said. "I, uh... I'd like that. I've just, never really been on a date before." I admitted.

"Well that's cool. I've been on like one at my old school but it didn't really work out." He replied. "How does Saturday sound? At six?"

"Great." I smiled.

"Awesome." Cal smiled. "Well, I'll see you then."

I nodded and we stared at each other for a few more seconds before he awkwardly walked away.
