The best thing to do for now is push it out of my mind. No good will come from dwelling on a problem when I could let it haunt me at night at an appropriate time. My aunt was even nice enough to not mention the bags under my eyes so that's a win.
“I didn't even realize the week was over already,”I remarked, standing around the counter with both of them.
“That’s because it flies by and takes forever,”She shrugged.
“You got that right. So, what’re you making this time?”She asked, wiping her hands on her jeans.
“Speaking of that,”Y/N trailed off, making us both look at her. Tucking her hair behind her ear, she leaned her elbows on the counter. “There isn't what we need for it. Plus, we are already running out of some things,”She drew out.
“I don't think I have the patience to drive an hour out of town today,”She sighed, rubbing her forehead.
“I have a license,”I volunteered before I could stop myself. As they both turned their attention to me, I regretted my words. I’m not a careless driver by any means, but I’m certainly not a fan of it. I don't get the hype. To be honest, I never actually did.
“Perfect. The only reason I still go is ‘cause someone here doesn't have one,”She replied, eyeing Y/N.
“I know how. Why do I need one?”She defended.
“So you have less of a chance of being arrested. Since that's all fine though, you give him the directions,”She instructed.
“Will do.”
“And Aris, for the love of god, don't kill anyone on the road,”She sighed, tossing me her keys and wallet from her pocket.
“I’ve never crashed,”I assured her.
“Yet,”She mumbled under her breath. Lightly elbowing her side, I rolled my eyes at her attitude before smiling at my aunt as I left, the fate of her truck in my hands.

Seeing as we had been driving straight for basically forever, it wasn't that hard to follow directions. It was actually making my eyes hurt to be honest.
“I can drive,”She offered.
“Not without your license.”
“I know how. I just don't want to go through the hassle to get one,”She complained.
“Then, you don't get to drive,”I shrugged.
“Please?”
“No.”
“Please?”
“Nope.”
“Please?”
“Absolutely not.”
“You're not being a very good Clyde right now,”She huffed, sitting back in her seat, crossing her arms.
“I hate to tell you this, but you're not actually Bonnie. No crime for you today.”
“This is not very partner in crime of you.”
“Sorry for caring about your safety?”
“Yeah. As you should be.”
“Listen. I'd rather be staring at you right now. Unfortunately, I’m not breaking the law.”
“Not even for me?”
“Not this one.”
“But you would for me?”
“Some of them.”
