"Have you seen my-"
I stopped when I left the room, where she was already standing. Her hair was still damp, pushed behind her back and out of her face. She had an innocent smile that went with her casual black sweatpants.

It's normal. It's really normal for your girlfriend to wear your hoodies, even your favorite one.

She had to roll the sleeves up, keeping it at her elbows just so it wouldn't slip past her fingers. The blue fabric hung loosely around her, stopping above her knees. It clung to her in a few spots since she was fresh out of the shower but nothing outrageous.

It was casual. It was a totally normal sight to see. No sane person would bother with a second glance.

And I swear it just gave me a nose bleed.

"I can take it off if-"
"No, no, you look good. I mean the hoodie! The hoodie looks good. Not that-not that you don't look good. I just, uh, please say something?"I rambled, covering my face as I shook my head at myself.

"You're so cute,"she laughed, her arms wrapping around me. While I was still a blushing mess, she kissed the tip of my nose, smiling as she pulled away.

"I love you,"I breathed out.

Putting her arms around my shoulders, she stood by my ear, her breath on my neck. I shuddered at the feeling, closing my eyes as I breathed her in.

"Grab your shoes. We're going on a late night adventure."

Walking past me like she hadn't said a word, she found her socks and tennis shoes. Following in, I shut the door behind us as I slid mine over my already covered feet, tying them.

"Let's go,"she whispered, going to the window. I slowly followed, holding my breath as she threw one leg over it, pulling herself up. Finding her balance, she managed a little more stability, allowing herself to slide down the house.

I followed, pulling myself up my arms. Making sure not to keep her waiting, I threw myself over the edge, landing on the grass.

"Come on. Follow me,"she whispered, grabbing my hand. I squeezed, our fingers locked together, shoulders brushing as we were as close as possible.

"If you were anyone else, following you would lead to disaster,"I pointed out.

"The night's young. There's still plenty of time for that,"she teased, a small smirk on her lips as she nudged me, letting go of my hand to do so. Wrapping my arm around her waist, I tried to ignore how my face heated up when she placed her palm over mine.

"What trouble were you thinking?"

"You'll just have to wait and see,"she grinned, eyes glimmering with something bright and excited. All the while, she was still in my hoodie. She actually chose mine!

I'm being normal about it. I'm totally chill.

We were walking for what felt like no time at all, every second with her not being long enough. The way she laughed at my jokes, the way she brushed against me, the way she had so many wonderful things to say, was absolutely everything.

We ended up in an empty field with overgrown grass that moved with the breeze. While it was absolutely a snake's dream, I knew she knew that too.

"Just a little further,"she urged, pointing to a slope that made my heart stop. She was far from concerned as she let go of me, running freely through the grass that was almost as tall as her, her arms out as she weaved through it. Taking a breath, I followed her lead, my feet carrying me where I needed to go. The smile on my face was uncontrollable, something so simple bringing an exhilarating thrill. I felt like I was flying through the field, like it was everything my life had led up to.
