"Ortho, reporting in. I have reached Sage's Island airspace with Cb-RS01 and 02. Now moving toward entry coordinates." Ortho was flying towards the large thorny dome.
'I'm still a little ways out from the island, but I'm already picking even more powerful magic readings and heavy blot density coming from it. This is almost exactly like when we opened the gate to the Underworld... Thank God Y/n stopped us that day. Now is my turn to help him out.'
"Plus, I've got the Cerberus Gear Mom made me, plus you CB-RS units. I'm sure I'll be okay."
The two CB-RS barked in agreement.
Grr... Arf, arf!
Ortho smiled and arrived just above the dome "Ortho, reporting in. I have reached my destination. Beginning entry preparations."
"Copy that." His father answered "Good luck."
From up close, the dome was even more imposing. Like a nightmare made manifest.
A colossal sphere of writhing black briars and thick, tar-like Overblot ink encased the entire island. Malleus' power pulsed through it like a corrupted heartbeat, reinforced by stolen fragments of Y/n's own essence: raw, unstable, and amplifying the spell to terrifying levels. Time itself had been forcibly paused inside. The sky was frozen in eternal twilight.
"Activating arcane realm breach mode. Deploying Aethereal Transmutation Denial Field. Both CB-RS units, release slicer modules and activate aethereal slicers!" Ortho commanded.
The CR-BS units howled and obeyed to try and tear through the dome.
But it was hard.
The dome pushed back like a living entity. Every inch forward felt like swimming through molten lead. Ortho's systems screamed with warnings. The CB-RS units sparked and glitched, their movements growing sluggish and jerky.
"Warning: Magical resistance at 912% of projected tolerance. Structural integrity failing in 47 seconds." It read...
But his eyes narrowed, glowing with fierce determination "I know. But we're not stopping. Big Brother... and everyone else... they're counting on us."
He pushed forward again. A thick briar lash whipped out, trying to impale him. He barely dodged, the thorn grazing his armored shoulder and leaving a trail of sparks.
"Oru-kun!" His mom exclaimed in panic.
"I'm fine..." He reassured 'Ah... Malleus is already an exceptional mage. Now aided with the powers of Y/n who is so overpo... Y/n's powers...'
Then the idea struck him. He did a full analysis, then... "Gevurah..." He whispered, and deep inside the dome, in Idia's bedroom, and around his neck, the lighter sapphire lit up.
"..." Idia stirred a bit, but remained asleep.
Discipline, Judgment and Boundaries...
Ortho raised both hands, his core blazing with the same blue light "Gevurah: Divine Ignition!!!"
A concentrated beam of white-hot holy flame erupted from his palms. It wasn't his usual blue fire, this was something far purer, far more destructive, infused with Y/n's own spark. The flame burned with the fury of a god's wrath, white at its core and edged in molten gold.
He aimed it straight at the thickest part of the dome.
The briars almost seemed to scream. Black ink boiled and evaporated on contact. The magical barrier cracked violently, then shattered in a brilliant explosion of light and embers. A jagged but stable hole tore open, just large enough for Ortho and the two droids to slip through.
